GOHEM: The Love Story/pt22 pg18 updated

Hi guys, Shilpa here is a new FF by me, please be gentle this is my first attempt, it will mostly be in english, with some gujarati and hindi, I hope you like it.

Everyone knows the background of the story, I am going to backtrack and start on the day of Diwali, the day Gopi was injured, Here it goes

Part1

It is the day of Diwali, there is lots of excitement and activities going on in the Modi household, all the women are busy in the kitchen making food for the holiday, there are decorations, rangoli, gift giving.

Gopi is in the kitchen making food, along with Hetal kaki, Rashi, Mani. Jigar walks in giving his mom and Rashi gift for diwali, rashi smirks at Gopi ( see my husband cares for me), Gopi just smiles at her

Kokila outside observing this, comes in says: Gopi vahu, come here, this is for you, it is a designer sari I had especially made for you, this is what I want you to wear tonight, Krinjle in laws are also coming for dinner, and I want my vahu and my daughter to dazzle them tonight.

Also after you get ready come to my room, I also have jewelery set I want you to wear with this sari, Kokila looks at Rashi and smirks at her👏 Gopi goes to get ready

In the next Scene, Ahem is walking in the door from the office, he felt very happy today, every one was impressed with his diwali gift, everyone complimented him on the personal touch on the gift packet (He did not know that Gopi had wrapped each gift, taking her time to personalize each gift).

As he is walking in he hears a sound of pyal and kangan, he looks up and is stunned to see Gopi coming down in the most beautiful green sari, he is mezmarized, thinking she looks hot, he feels his body reacting to her (you all know what I mean LOL)

Gopi has not yet noticed him, he is still staring at her, but he feels there is something wrong, he does not see the usual smile or happiness on her face, when he realizes this he think, she has been quieter than usually, she smiles but her smile is missing the sparkle and it does show in her eyes anymore, in fact she has been avoiding him more and more lately, she never look at him, when he is around she is always looking down, her beautiful eyes lowered, he thinks to himself did I do this to her??? (you think bewakoof-sorry Ahem fans, I think he is super sexxy, but he still needs a kick in the rear end)

He walk toward Gopi to see if he could get her to bump into him so he could hold her for few seconds to feel the soft skin on her arm, unknown to him while he was thinking, Gopi notice out of the corner of her eye and totally avoids him, run quickly to the kitchen, Ahem gets glimps of the back of her sari blouse and is once again stunned into place🤓

He notices all the ties in the back and think I wish I was there when she was getting dressed so I could help her tie the one in the middle that she probably struggled with (oh well may be next time, in my story you will get plenty of opportunity Ahemji)

He finally walks up and thinks I really need a cold, cold shower today!!!!

Kokila was observing the whole scene, thinking, now I got you beta.

Part 2

Kokila comes down with big smile on her face, thinking about the next part of her plan, she is not going to let her pyari beti Gopi step out of this house.

Meanwhile everything is ready for the guests, all the lights outside shining, rangoli looks beautiful, The Mehata's arrive, and everyone is greeted, Ketki ben not seeing Krinjle and Gopi enquires about them to Kokila: Where is my beautiful DIL to be and aapka who heera Gopi vahu, Ahem breaks out in big smile hearing this, it gets noticed by Kokila, Just then Gopi is coming down with Krinjle and once again Ahem can't keep his eyes off of Gopi😛 Krinjle and Gopi take blessing from Mr and Mrs Mehta, on the side Jigar is elbowing Rashi to do same.

Refreshments are brought in by Gopi and Mani,

meanwhile Urmila ben comes down from upstairs and greets everyone, she waited until it was safe to face Kokila, since she along with Rashi got caught earlier trying to mess with rasoi to bring blame on Gopi again, but Koki was too smart for them this time, Koki looks at her glarringly.

Meanwhile Krinjle is very tense because she was supposed to meet Umang, but was unable to do so, she is sweating bullets thinking what am I going to do, Elesh (her would be fiance notice)

Jigar to everyone, I want to go crack some fireworks, everyone agrees and gets up to go outside, Ahem purposely lags behind to see if Gopi is coming, Gopi is standing there notices him and turn away, He is unaware but Gopi is more scarred of him lately, she feels as though if he yells at her one more time she is going to have a nervous breakdown, so she avoids him completely, she decides to keep her promise to him to keep out of his way.

Kokila stops by Gopi and says beta tum bhi chalo, gopi replies nahi maji, muje fatako se darr lagta hai, me khana garam kar deti hoon, Koki agrees and goes out, Ahem is disappointed, he really wanted her to see her in all the lights outside (Poor Ahem is going to need a another cold shower before the night is over)

Everyone happily lighting the fireworks, Elesh looking at Krinjle who is still looking tense and nervous, Ahem comes towards him and says Eleshji lets light some rockets

The first rocket they light flies behind the house:

Ahem: I feel that rocket went behind our house where the kitchen is

Jigar: nahi bhai I don't think so

Ahem: feels uneasy and wants to check

meanwhile Gopi in kitchen by herself, at the sink washing dishes when the rocket comes thru the window and hits her hand burning her, she screams out in pain

Ahem comes in the house and notices Gopi blowing on her hand and in pain, he gets scared, even unintentionally I do nothing but hurt her

Gopi struggling to open the faucet, because her hands are soapy, she feels Ahem is near, she always knows when he is around, lately more so because he is always starring at her, and she has a funny feeling when he stares at her with passion filled eyes, but thinks that is only physical attraction, not emotional.

Ahem take hold of her hand and turns the faucet on, she flinches when the water directly hits her hand so he puts his hand under the water and gently washes her hand. Gopi remembers to cover her head, but he stops her with a look, says chup chap kadi raho and traps her other hand so she cannot move, Gopi is shocked, but then averts her face away, so he would not see her. Ahem is very sad seeing her like this and once again thinks, this is what I did to her, how do I tell you I am sorry, please forgive me, lets start again. he realize how close he is to her, she feels so good in his arms, with his arms wrapped around him his cheek close to her head, he can smell the clean scent of her hair and smell of her baby powder lotion that she applies every morning, and again he feels his body's reaction, thinking another cold shower for sure.

Gopi also feels her heart racing because he is so close to her, she can smell his aftershave, she used to love looking at his clean shaven face, and wondered if it feels smooths as it looks, when she saw him in his gold sherwani this evening, she taught he was looking very sexxy, but was to scarred to look twice.

after he finish washing the hand, he offers to get his mom to bandage the wound, but she say no, Maji is already tense and Krinjle ben in laws here I don't want to worry anyone, I will dress it myself, don't worry, she struggles to get the first aid box, but he comes behind her almost touching her to get the first aid box down

Ahem: Let me do it for you

Gopi: mae kar loongi

Ahem: gives her the look

Gopi: having flash back to time when he offered to dress her wound with the thief and next morning accusing her of aiding the thief, more flash back to when she save his life from the snake and next morning making her think he is thanking her, but dashes her hope taunting her and telling her she will never be part of his life, yelling at her after the dupatta fan incident.

Ahem is finished with the dressing and is just watching her with all the hurt and emotions on her face and know she is thinking about all the other times he was nice to her one minute and mean the next (the jeckyl and hyde personality)

Gopi slowly moves back from him and turns her head away, he leaves, because he did not want to see her hurt or scarred anymore, he is tired of hiding behind his anger, the truth is he has been in love with Gopi from the first moment, but he had become hateful and angry after the he found out the truth about Anita (gold digger), he came to think of Gopi as like her because of the necklace incident, his heart is telling him Gopi is what she potrays to be, shy, innocent, lovable and caring person, but his head was not ready to believe this because of all the evidence against her.

He goes outside thinking all of this

Kokila: ahem where have you been, its time to light all the big firecrackers

Ahem: mom I am not in the mood, please ask jigar

Kokila thinking what is wrong with him.
