Rahul who had witnessed everything walked into the room as soon as Gopi ran out and punched Aham who fell down and looked at Rahul really shocked.
Rahul: This is for hurting a sweet and innocent girl like Gopi😡. Do you even know in which condition I found her? I shudder everytime I think what would have happened to her if I did not find her.
Aham who was already feeling guilty could not stop his tears from flowing. He sat there starring at the floor and did not even try to say anything in his deffence. Rahul's heart melted seeing him like that and he extended his hand towards Aham to help him up.
Rahul: Now stop sitting there with this sad face and come on up because if Pari comes to know that I did this to you she'll bury me alive.
Aham who was on the verge of taking Rahul's hand became angry when he heard Rahul calling Gopi, his Gopi Pari. He ignored Rahul's extended hand and got up by himself and glared at Rahul.
Aham: Uss ka naam Pari nahi, Gopi hai. GOPI AHAM MODI😡
Rahul: Chill dude! Woh tumhari Gopi hi hai aur hamesha rahegi😉 Abb khush?
Aham : Where did you find Gopi and when? We've been looking for her for the past 5 years and I also put detectives on the job to find her lekin woh mili hi nahi.
Jigar: Haan Rahul, Aham bhai nai toh jaise jeena hi chor diya ho. Woh bas kaam karte hain aur ghar jakar bhabhi ki photo se paagalon ki tarah batein karte the. Thank god bhabhi mill gayi hai, abb humein apne Aham bhai bhi wapas mill jayein ge.
Rahul: If you loved her so much then why did you let her go Aham?
Aham: Do I look like a fool to you Rahul? Do you really think I would have let her go if I had known she was leaving me? Mom told me that Gopi left when I got home from work and Jigar and I started looking for her around the whole city but could not find her. Please Rahul, tell me how you met Gopi and what she has been doing all these years. main apni Gopi ke bare main sab kuch janna chahta houn.
Rahul: I found Gopi the same day she left your house. I was on my way to a meeting when I saw a group of people assembled who were blocking the way. I got down and saw Gopi lying in the middle of the road bleeding profusely. She had been hit by a truck and instead of helping her people were just standing there and commenting on the accident."
Aham stopped breathing when he heard about Gopi's accident. He was not there when she needed him the most. He felt as if his heart was tearing to pieces and his eyes filled with tears. Aham asked in a choked voice: Usse zyada chot to nahi lagi thi na? Gopi ko kitna dard hua hoga😭...Woh... woh abb theek hai na?
Rahul: Woh ab bilkul theek hai Aham. I took her to the hospital and got her treated and waited for her to regain conciousness. I asked her about her husband's contact details when she came around and she started crying and told me that her husband will not come even if I tell him about her accident. When I asked her the reason for it she told me everything she went through ever since her parents passed away. She told me how her mama brought her home and her mami hated the sight of her. She was not allowed to go to school and was treated like a servant all her life.
Aham felt like thousands of needles pierced his heart when he heard how Gopi was treated at her mama's place and he closed his eyes and let his tears flow freely.
Rahul: She never wanted a rich husband as she was never interested in materialistic things. All she craved for was a little bit of love from her husband jo usse kabhi mila hi nahi. She never lied to you or anyone else. She was refusing to marry you but accepted only after Rashi read your letter which said that you wanted to marry Gopi. If she had known that you loved Anita she would never have married you. When she found out about your love for Anita and how unhappy you were with her she decided to leave you forever. She even tried to leave a couple of times but your mom always managed to stop her except for the last time when she gave your mom your kasam. She even asked your mum to get you married to Anita as your happiness lies with Anita and not her.
Aham: Meri khushi tum se shuru ho kar tum pe hi khatam hoti hai Gopi😭 In paanch saalon mein mujhe ek pal ki khushi bhi nahi mili. Woh sab to maine ghusse main kaha tha aur tum ne usse sach maan liya. Maine Anita se kabhi pyar nahi kiya, sirf tumse pyaar kiya hai😭
Rahul and Jigar made Aham sit down and gave him some water.
Rahul: I asked Gopi where she would go from there but she had no clue of where to go and what to do that's why I took her to my place. I lived with my mom and nephew and niece who were 5 year old twins, my bhaya and bhabhi's kids. It had been 2 years since bhaya and bhabhi passed away in a plane crash aur woh apne saath hamari saari khushian le gaye but Gopi brought all the happiness back when she came to live with us. Uss ke aane se I got a little sister, mom got a loving daughter and the twins got a partner in crime. She took great care of all of us and spread love and happiness in all our lives. I encouraged her to study and even sent her to London to do her MBA and she graduated and came back last week. Pata hai she even topped her batch.👏 She joined office as soon as she came back as she wanted to help me with my work. Bas yehi hai tumhari Gopi ki kahani.
Aham was feeling really proud of Gopi. She had managed her life so well and also managed to educate herself.
Aham: But why is she calling herself Pari Singhania? She is refusing to acknowledge that she is Gopi Aham Modi, MY WIFE. Abb to main ne usse yeh bhi kehdiya that Anita has no place in my life. Why is she doing this to me then?
Rahul: yehi baat meri bhi samaj mein nahi araha hai? She has always loved you and she still does and I really don't know why she is running away from you. But don't you worry, now that you've found Gopi she won't be able to run away from you for long.
Aham in a determined voice says: I'm going to win her back with my love. Bohot hogaya, I won't let her stay away from me anymore. MERI GOPI KO MERE PAAS WAPAS ANA HI HOGA. MERA PYAAR USSE KHINCH KE WAPAS ZAROOR LAYE GA.
Jigar: And both Rahul and I will help you win back Gopi bhabhi.😊
Both Jigar and Rahul give Aham a group hug and wish him goodluck to win Gopi's love back. They stood there talking to each other some more and Jigar updated Rahul with everything that happened in Modi Mansion in the last 5 years and also told Rahul that Rashi was the one who made Gopi believe that Aham will be happier if Gopi leaves the house. They told Rahul about the divorce and Jigar's wedding to Sonal and Jigar's baby girl Jia. Both Rahul and Jigar's phones started ringing after awhile and they both walked out of the boardroom to take the calls. Aham who was left on his own in the boardroom walked to the window and was looking at the scenery outside. Gopi walked into the boardroom and mistook Aham for Rahul as his back was facing the door and said
Gopi: Aap abhi tak yahan hai? Maaji nai aapko aaj ghar jaldi aane ko kaha tha na? Chaliye ghar chalte hain.
Aham turned around with a smile on his face: Yehi to main keh raha houn Gopi, chalo ghar chalte hain.
Gopi: Aap?... main... woh.... mujhe laga Rahul bhai hain...
Gopi suddenly noticed Aham's swollen face and panicked(remember Rahul had punched him really hard?). She rushed to Aham and touched his face lightly.
Gopi said in a choked voice: Yeh aap ko kya hogaya? Jab main gayi thi to aap theek the phir yeh chot kaisi lagi?
Aham kept starring at Gopi while she pulled him by his hand and made him sit on a chair.
Gopi: Aap yahan baithiye, I'll get some ice for you.
As soon as Gopi turns around Aham stands up and leans towards the huge table in the boardroom and continues starring at Gopi rushing to the mini freezer and getting some ice and putting them in her sari pallu. Gopi turned around and got angry when she saw Aham standing and she walks to him in anger.
Gopi: Main nai aap ko baithne ke liye kaha tha na? Phir aap khare kyun hain?
Aham gives a cute smile seeing Gopi fuss about him. He holds Gopi by the the shoulders and tells her
Aham: Arre baba ghusa kyun hoti ho? You want me to sit right? To theek hai main baith jata houn.
Saying so Aham sits on the table instead of the chair and continues starring at Gopi. Gopi shakes her head and puts the ice which was wrapped in her sari pallu on Aham's swollen face and he tries to keep a brave face despite the fact that it's hurting like hell.
Gopi's eyes fill with tears and she holds his other cheek with her free hand and says: Bohot dard ho raha hai na? Bas abhi theek hojaye ga.
Aham wipes Gopi's tears and whispers: Nahi Gopi abb bilkul bhi dard nahi horaha hai. Tumne apne pyaar ka marham jo laga diya hai.
Aham wraps both his arms around Gopi's waist and pulls her closer to him and drops a light kiss on her forehead. Gopi's heart starts beating faster and she blushes really hard as it's the first time she is actually feeling loved by Aham. Aham's heart swells with love seeing Gopi's reaction to him and he tightens his grip around her and says
Aham: Meri taraf dekho Gopi.
Gopi looks into Aham's eyes and Aham says: Itna pyaar karti ho to mujhe akela chor kar kyun gayi?
Gopi's eyes filled with tears: Aap hi nai to kaha tha ke mere saath rehna sirf aap ki majboori hai aur aap Anita se pyaar karte hain. Mera yakeen maniye, agar mujhe pehle pata hota to main aap se shadi nahi karti. Main aapki aur Anita ki shadi karane ki puri koshish karti.
Gopi was sobbing badly by now and Aham pulled her into a hug and he ran his hand up and down her back to calm her down. Gopi stopped crying after some time but stayed in Aham's arms with her head rested against his chest. Aham decided it was time to tell Gopi the truth and end her misery once and for all.
Aham: Anita meri girlfriend thi aur woh mujh se nahi mere paison se pyaar karti thi. Main ne bhi usse kabhi pyaar nahi kiya. Meri mom ko hamesha darr tha ke I will love my wife more than her when I get married that's why she wanted to get me married to an uneducated girl who would always listen to her and never try to create rifts between us. I knew you were uneducated and you never lied to me lekin I always accused you of something or the other and stayed away from you. Main ne yeh sab mom ki khusi ke liye kiya lekin main ne yeh kabhi nahi socha ke mom ki khushi hamari khushi mein hai. I really liked your loving and caring nature towards everyone aur pata nahi chala kab mujhe tum se pyaar hogaya. Main tumse bohot pyaar karta houn Gopi aur apni ghaltiyon ki wajah se tumhe kho diya. Main sach mein ek parha likha bewakoof hoon. Mujhe maaf kado Gopi aur wapas aajao. I can't live without you, marr...
Gopi put her hand on Aham's mouth and stopped him from saying anything else.
Gopi: Aap ko pata bhi hai aap kya keh rahe hain? Agar phir se marne ki baat ki to mein aap se kabhi baat nahi karoungi.😭
Aham: Acha baba I'm sorry.
Aham made a cute sorry face and Gopi could not stay mad any longer and she put her head back on Aham's chest and hugged him.
Gopi: Acha aap yeh bataiye ghar pe sab kaise hain?
Aham told Gopi how they found out Rashi's true intentions and threw her out of the house and also everything that went on since she left. Gopi felt really bad for Rashi and Kinjal and she could not stop her tears and Aham was upset seeing her cry for them.
Aham: Tum bhi na Gopi, undono ke liye ro rahi ho? They are the ones who created misunderstandings between us and ruined our lives. Issi liye to jab se tum mujhe chor kar gayi ho main ne Kinjal se baat tak nahi ki. Main usse kabhi maaf nahi kar sakta.
Gopi cupped Aham's face and made him look into her eyes: Please don't say this. Kinjal nai jo bhi kiya aap ki khushi aur apne pyaar ke liye kiya. Woh Anita ke bhai se pyaar karti thi. Lekin jab aap ne mujh se shadi ki to woh Kinjal ko blackmail karne laga. Aap ki behen dill ki buri nahi hai, woh bas thori der ke liye bahak gayi thi. Promise me aaj ghar ja kar aap sabse pehle Kinjal se baat karenge aur usse maaf kardenge.
Aham: I promise jab hum ghar jaenge to sab se pehle Kinjal se baat karenge.
Gopi: Main aap ke saath ghar nahi ja rahi houn Ahamji.
Aham's heart nearly stopped when he heard this: Gopi don't ever joke like this again mujhe bilkul pasand nahi hai.
Gopi: I'm serious Ahamji main aap ke saath wapas nahi arahi houn.
Aham: Lekin kyun Gopi. You have forgiven me right? And we have also cleared all our misunderstandings. Phir tum wapas kyun nahi aogi?
Gopi smiled lovingly at Aham: Main pehle wali Gopi nahi rahi Ahamji. Aap ko ghar ja kar sab ko batana hoga ke main itne din kahan thi aur kya kar rahi thi and how much I have changed. I won't come back if everyone does not accept the new me, specially maji.
Aham: Iss mein kaun si bari baat hai Gopi? Tum abhi mere saath chalo and I'm sure they will all welcome you with open arms.
Gopi: Nahi Ahamji, aap ko pehle unhein manana hoga. Uss ke baad aap ko Rahul bhai se mera haath mangna hoga aur mujhse phir se shadi karni hogi. Tabhi main aapke saath aoungi warna I'm not coming back.
Aham: Lekin Gopi iss mein to bohot waqt lag jayega. Main itne din kaise rahounga tumhare bagair. Meri galtiyon ki itni bari saza?
Gopi: Main ab pehle wali Gopi nahi rahi Ahamji. Mein aap ke saath tabhi aoungi jab aap mujhe apni dulhan bana kar lejayenge.
Aham grabbed Gopi's wrist and pulled her against him and whispered: Aisi baat hai to main bohot jald apni dulhan lene aounga.
Gopi smiled shyly and her eyes danced with happiness. Aham kissed Gopi on her forehead and pulled her into a hug and they both hugged each other tightly.
Rahul and Jigar who witnessed the whole thing started coughing loudly. Hearing them both Gopi and Aham let go of each other.
Aham: Kya yaar? Thori der baad nahi asakte the?
Rahul: Aisi baat hai to hum chale jate hain.
Jigar: Kyun bhabhi? Hum chale jayen?😉
Gopi who was all red by now hid her face in Aham's chest and he hugged her back while all the boys were laughing.
Aham: Stop teasing my wife now guys. Aur Jigarji aap ja kar apni patni ka sar khao na, meri patni ke piche kyun pare ho?
Rahul: Someone's getting possessive😉 Husband ji agar aap ki ijazat ho to mein apni behein ko ghar lejaoun? Aaj humein ghar jaldi jana hai.
Aham: Itni jaldi jana hai?
Jigar: We have to go home early as well bhai.
Aham: Why don't you guys wait for us in the car? We'll be there in 5 minutes.
As soon as Rahul and Jigar leave the room Gopi looks at Aham and smiles sadly at him as it was time for them to go separate ways. Aham pulls her back in his arms and droppes a kiss on her forehead.
Gopi: Take care of yourself and please eat on time. Aur sab ke saath pyaar se rehna.
Aham kisses both her cheeks and says: Aur kuch?
Gopi looks into his eyes and says: Aur jitna jaldi hosake mujhe lene ajana.
Aham: Mein tumhein bohot jaldi lene aounga jaan. I promise.
Saying so he hugs her tightly and they both go to the cars after sometime.
