Kalika repayed Saloni's goodness with evilness. She knew Saloni risked her relationship with her maika, her sister when she tried to make Kali fit in the family, She also became responsible to find a place for Kali's mom in the family too. She also got her married in her own household. Despite all this, Kali held grudge against Saloni. Any other person in her place would have been grateful to what saloni did for her.
Instead..Kali made an alliance with Kshitij knowing fully Kshitij hates his family and wants to destroy his own father and the rest of the family. Kali knew Kshitij is up to no good. She decided to destroy both Saloni's Maika and Sasural. She made fun of the institution of marriage by entering in to contract with Kshitij.She knows Kshitij is an NRI and does not have strong indian values..
