APRIL 23rd, 2008
Story ab thak: Tara's baby's naming ceremony, everyone is waiting and Kshitij walks in drunk...*SLLAAAAAAAPPP* Veer to Kshitij
Kshitij questions kakasa "Why did you slap me?, this was not the first time that the came home drunk" Veer is angered and says "what were you thinking coming to a pooja in a state that you cant even stand up on your feet." is about to slap him again when he is stopped by Brijesh & Nahar tries to take Kshitij inside. (Ok Kshitij is too diff to keep typing over and over again soo from here on out he is KJ)
So KJ puts up a little fuss about everyone staring at him but is finally taken inside by Nahar. Everyone in the house is shocked by this ... Veer tells Brijesh to name the kid something else and by someone else as his son doesnt even remember his own name, what will he name their son.
Nahar & KJ - in room
Nahar requests him to get some rest but he is stopped by KJ. KJ tells nahar that he wont let him go till he knows why he came home drunk. He says that he drank today cuz he was very happy because he got all his family, a home and everything back.
Back at the Ceremony:
Brijesh requests Saloni to name their son as she did so much to get him back.
Nahar & KJ:
KJ: everyone drinks when they are young but Mr. Veer Singh isnt even ashamed to hit his Jaavan son in front of other people. Nahar tries to tell him that Kakasa loves him very much, and he is his father. Any father can't see their own son going off course in life.
Ceremony:
Saloni names the kid -(( couldnt catch it ! (adithiyo?) ))
Meanwhile, Kaveri thinks about finally finding a lil fire that she can put some ghee on and making it more interesting! For her own amusement ofcourse.
Sooo she goes over to Kakasa and tells Kakasa that he needs to stop worrying about all this as he has been getting all these people in his life that are like this.."First there was Kakisa..and her faults, then Urv who decieved you and finally after all these people your only hope was your son..and now look...even your son has left you hopeless. Now I don't even know how to make you feel better Kakasa or where to start"
(everyone is watching this convo as shes talking to him)
So finally Saloni gets up and walks over and tells her "if the only way for you to make someone feel better is by putting salt on their wounds and reminding them, its better that you just shut up" (Soo funny...loved this comment!👏)
Sal "If KJ is acting this way then there must be a reason for it. He has been brought up in a different country with different customs and beliefs so who are we to judge him and give him a "good" or 'bad' certificate? Everyone goes through different situations in life and how they react to them makes them good or bad. Take yourself for example (Kaveri looks 😡 )"
Kaveri thinks about how Saloni insulted infront of everyone and why she keeps pouring petrol into her aag (I guess Kaveri likes ghee better! lol) One day Sal will end up burning in this fire that she is creating for yourself in my mind.
Brijesh says that KJ is still a good guy and he doesnt need to be yelled at but taught things so he can be changed. Veer says he tried everything so far but nothing worked. Sal says she will take responsibility for making him a better guy but kakasa has to promise that he wont yell at KJ again. Nahar walks back saying "Kakasa the one thing common between you two is that both of you love each other..KJ kept saying how much he loves you in his drunk state"
((Everyone is happy )) Sal says that if we all try to as a family we can fix his habbits.
Kunjan & Shubra's Bedroom
Subhra comments that everyone seemed happy at the function. Kunjan says that everyone will be happy when their family is complete, to which Subhra replies that our family can be complete too right?
Kunjan doesnt want to talk about his father as him and his mother have been hurt by it. Shubra comments that there is probably a misunderstanding as Papaji has always seemed to care about Kunjan and Mummyji. Kunjan says that this relationship between his father and him will never be complete as long as he is alive.
Singh Mansion
KJ wants his morning tea but Saloni says noway till you brush as he is part of the family now and he needs to learn some their ways of doing things. She tries to get him up to go brush. KJ replies "You know babhisa, I usually get upset when people try to tell me what to do and when they try to change my habbits but for some reason I can't get mad at you, I dont know why"
She tells him that no one has told him with love so far, they have been just yelling at him. "Now stop trying to butter me up because you still won't get the tea till you brush"
Kakasa is watching all this from upstairs.
Saloni and KJ have breakfast. Saloni tells him about going to her parent's house for lunch but a servant comes and tells her that all the cars are gone. So KJ says he will drop her off.
Saloni's Maayka:
Everyone welcomes them both. She goes to the kitchen to find Subhra already there. Sal asks how shes doing. She gets concerned about Subhra because she looks so worried. Ambika walks in and tells her that if something is the matter, she should them them as family is there for her. (Kaveri is listening to all of this in the background)
Subhra tells Ambika & Sal that she wishes that her mummyji & papaji resolved their problem. She tried everything but everything has gone to waste and they are so angry with each other and she feels helpless. (Kaveri the spy is still listening)
Sal says not to worry shes here and she will talk to Padmaji (Subra's mummyji) Subhra tells her not to mention that she asked her to because mummyji is already mad at her.
Kaveri thinks how this is a good way to pay back Saloni for all her insults at the ceremony.
So she calls up Padmaji and tells her that nothing in her family stays behind closed doors as her daughter in law hasnt been taught how to keep her house's respects to her self. She has been sharing her sad stories with her sister and mother and crying about it. So saloni has decided to come talk to you and make you understand about it.
KJ takes her to Subhra's House
He waits in the car while she goes inside. Saloni says she came to talk to her about something important and that she doesnt want to upset her. Subra's mom in law tells her that well if u think it will upset me then why bother telling it. Meanwhile KJ is listneing to songs in the car and Nahar calls saloni's cell. KJ tells nahar that shes inside, he'll take the cell to her.
Back inside:
Sal brings up Kunjan's father's name. Padmaji gets very angry and tells her to get up and asks who she is to interfere in her family's business. KJ walks in at this time, nahar is listening to this convo on cell phone. Padmaji says that "You and shubra married into Rajputs but you are not equal to us..everyone knows about your family's dirty secret" (hmm??) Story ends on all three of their shocked faces (KJ, Sal & Nahar)
Pre: Saloni is meeting with Kunjan's father and he wants to show her the reason he is going through all this
Comments: Overall, a really good episode! There are some cute scenes between Kshitij and Saloni (as Babhi & Dhevar) Looks like they are setting up for the next few tracks: The Saloni family's raaz & Kunjan's dad's track! Definately would recommend watching today's episode :)
