COURTROOM SCENE
lawyers are arguing on shubhra's case and prosecution lawyer tells the judge that shubhra deserves the death penalty. judge adjourns the court (for a break or something). shubhra's lawyer tells her family that there's no hope now since she has already pleaded guilty. manno bhabhi scolds him for not trying his best to save her.
pia while going through her reception pictures, finds a photo showing karan in the background holding shubhra's baby and a sword. she immediately calls up saloni and tells her that she has an important evidence that can save shubhra.
narpat is holding shubhra's child and cries that he can't do anything for shubhra. they show shubhra entering the house with a diya and everyone following her. all charges were dropped after the photo was presented in court. everyone's very happy now that shubhra's been released. kaveri is fuming with anger at this.
bhabho goes to brijesh's room and tells him that they should get saloni a gold laxmi statue as this is her first diwali. tara gets irritated and tells bhabho that's there's no need for all this since she gave papaya to urvashi and tried to kill the unborn child. bhabho hurt goes away.
while performing pooja, aditi asks bhabho about the gold laxmi and bhabho tells her that it's upto brijesh now whether he agrees to bring one for saloni or not. just then, brijesh enters with a gold laxmi and says that he wants to give it to the new bahu-saloni. urvashi is very jealous and she and dheer look at each other. nahar hugs brijesh and tells him that they should now start their lives afresh and forget everything else. b4 this nahar (dont know when) had told saloni that they should leave the house and go away.
next week-samar has had a diwali accident and is being taken to the hospital. i guess this is when he loses his eyesight.
