The moderators.. in this forum are more like head masters.. than the other forums. Do others feel the same way.. I know I am writing this at the cost of this topic getting closed. but I guess this is a public forum.

Most of the us decent language.. but it is like dont use this word.. dont use that word..

As much as some word is bad to use.. so is HATE and there are other plentiful.. which others may not like it..

Similarly.. the other forums update the episodes regularly.. this is the only forum where the updates are not that regular.. Whenever realitybites does it.. he/she does it on time.. but others I do understand that they are doing a favour for the rest of us.. but like in some other forum.. they were telling.. when moderators and updaters are happy on one hand with the appreciation... and praises.. it also brings with it some criticism.. which I guess one needs to be able to take it..

I donot understand.. how can a "where is today's update?" cause so much of hard feelings in the SF Dev Team.

Well.. It is supposed to be a forum.. where you also exchange your ideas/thoughts/feelings apart from getting updates.. When somebody is asking / requesting for an update.. one can tell them off with a nicer tone and also request them to hold on for few more minutes.. than either shout at them.. or use harsh words.

Just my thoughts.. Now.. that I have written it.. anybody is free to close this topic or do whatever.. I dont mind.

Totally True. It is not nice to ask for updates in a rude way , but a sincere request should be treated nicely.
And it really helps to know a time frame so that u are not looking for it every hour or so.
That also means that the forum has some discipline. The updaters are doing a favour but they decided to do it voluntarily. Why does it sound like that we are begging for something and "beggars cannnot be choosers".

Dear friends,

We have explained a lot of times on this very forum about the update schedule and problems we are facing. There is also a schedule for all the rules and update schedule. Kindly read that.

Realitybites and remixrulz are the only updaters we have as of now. Jaspreet left. Realitybites cannot update daily. Since remixrulz is a class 10 student she can update only one day. We don't have any Indian updater for tuesday. We really can't do anything if no one volunteers for updating. May be many don't watch the show.

It is a strict rule on IF not to make threads asking for updates. It is followed in all sections and such threads are locked and even warnings are issues.

Hope this clears any doubts you have. Now that we have cleared everything can we lock this thread now?

Thanks,

SO dev team
