Please help, looking at it medically after an injury should the person stay on life support???

It depends on the situation, what are the changes, how good the reqovery will be.

it depends on persons age, injury, illness, prognosis. some people are young, can get better and need that help to keep them going for few days before their body system can start working normally.

more it depends on the family. you don't know what they are going through at that moment so judging them on the basis of what we see in not fair. me being a medical personal respect every wish the family has. every situation is different so its hard to say no or yes. i have been on both side of the situation, as a medical personal where i thought the family shouldn't prolong the life of a person that didn't had good chances of coming out of the situation and me being a daughter who after loosing her mother didn't want to loose her dad so soon. so you never know what family is going through and whats in their mind.

well it depends on the situation...if its something where there is no hope for FULL recovery then no, but if there is a chance than definetly. Also if family members insist on it, then there isnt much to do but agree
