The judges on the show are actress and producer Aruna Irani and choreographer Longi Fernandes. Irani says the concept of the show got her interested. "On other shows we normally see youngsters dancing and winning prizes, here the screen mother-in-law are serious contenders. If someone thinks elders cannot dance, they're in for a big surprise," she says.

According to Irani, participants in their mid-50s are "simply energetic." "After seeing them, I felt that I shouldn't have stopped dancing. I've decided once this show is over, I'll start my dance training," she says.

As per the show's format, as opposed to the normal rounds, every week five teams of bahus with their mothers-in-law will perform. Interestingly, the show will be aired five days a week, giving the audience a daily dose of reality TV. "Each team will have a reel life saas and bahu. Whether your performance is good or bad, you have to have an excellent chemistry with each other," says Anchal Dwivedi, popularly known as Kaveri of Saat Phere.

"I am looking forward to it. I am born dancer. After 20 years I will get a chance to show my talent on the stage again. Through this show I am able to recall my youth again. The experience of being on the show gives me feeling that my soul is back. Though at this age I have to match up with the young contestants and but I am excited about it. My excitement doubled when I heard I have to perform with my on-screen bahu," says Pratichi Mishra, aka Ambika of Saat Phere.

"The show's concept is different from other shows because here, for the first time, you can see only women performing. Unlike other reality shows, this one also has emotional scenes, drama and visual appeal. Not only this, the show also has lots of masala which will help in getting twist and turns in the show," says Juhi Parmar, popularly known as Kumkum of Kumkum. Through this show, the celebs will not only get chance to dance but also have a break from the daily routine. "It's difficult for me at this age to match up to my on-screen bahu Kumkum. It's not easy to take part in a reality show like this, but I somehow managed to handle it. Dancing on a stage is a lifetime experience and everyone should try it. I have not done any preparation but rehearse regularly so that my performances are loved by everyone," says Rita Bhaduri.
