Arjun tells Mansen that he wouldn't allow the person who murdered Satya to live in their house. He also says that he is breaking the rules he himself had set forth. Mansen tells him that Shaku and Bhoomi bailed Suraj out, which means that they do not find him guilty. He also says that if he had, at first, refused to adopt Khushi, he now gave his permission so that he too may adopt Suraj.
In the room, Arjun tells Bhoomi that it because of her and Shaku that he wasn't able to say anything to Mansen. Bhoomi tries to explain but he tells her that he can't stay with Suraj under one roof, as every time he would look at him, he would feel the absence of Satya.
Bhoomi speaks to Shaku about Suraj. Shaku tells her that Mansen would make Suraj everyone's enemy. Bhoomi tells her that she could have done what Mansen did but Shaku tells her not to tell her what to do. Bhoomi tells her that they should think of Manasvi's happiness before anything else. After Bhoomi leaves, Lord Krishna tells Shaku that Kunti was in the same situation as she was. Shaku says that she is more concerned of Manasvi's happiness. Lord Krishna asks her as to what would happen once Suraj steps foot in the house.
Khushal tells Mansen that if everyone reacted strongly upon hearing that Suraj would be living with them, how would they react when he actually steps foot in their house. Mansen tells him that he wants Khushi to step foot in their house as soon as possible so that he could bring Suraj as well. Khushal tells him not to let Baisa and Bade Dadaji interfere in his decision this time.
Baisa tells Bade Dadaji that Mansen has never made her proud of him, but this time, she wouldn't let him do what he wants. She tells him that they should be the ones to decide whether Suraj would step foot in their house or not. Bade Dadaji tells her that he would answer Mansen in his own language but as of now, he would accept his decision for Manasvi's happiness.
Arjun tells Bhoomi that he can't accept Suraj in their house but he will have to for the sake of Manasvi's happiness. Manasvi overhears this and then calls the orphanage and informs the head that she wouldn't adopt Khushi right now. The head tells her that Khushi was so happy when she was packing her bag. Manasvi tells her that she can't adopt Khushi now, as there are some problems at home.
Mansen, Khushal, and Yuvraj are about to leave the house when Bade Dadaji stops them. He tells Mansen that he wants to give him his decision but Mansen tells him that he doesn't want to hear it, as what he has decided would take effect. Manasvi tells him that he doesn't understand what she is feeling because if he did, he wouldn't take advantage of her situation. She tells him that she doesn't want to adopt Khushi anymore, as she doesn't want Satya's murderer to live amidst them. Mansen tells her that he never wanted to bring an orphan at home but Arjun and Bhoomi do. He points at the door. Manasvi turns her head and sees Arjun and Bhoomi with Khushi.
