I think Amir was very good with Teri Deewani... much better than his other days... But I do agree that I also found the soul missing in his singing.. His 'Saaware' was much better than this one...

I think, Abhro still leads in terms of all the 'Teri Deewani' performances so far in all reality shows... 😳

I do agree with jaya. His 'Saaware' was much better than Teri Deewani. The best part on "Teri Deewani' .

Hope he is not getting unwanted hype over here.
The real picture is yet to emmerge and anything can happen. Till date Sonu Nigam and Sureshji have done
good analysis on contestants and gave much needed constructive inputs towards improvement. How best they adopt and comeout with versatality depends on individual singers.

The GOD given boon to this show is that Himesh is not there.

IMO Aamir did an excellent job with his Teri deewani. He has a very powerful voice. i'm sure he'll have a strong,deep voice when he grows up.

Umm ... I think that you should listen to the performance again. I don't know why you think that it wasn't good, but I thought it was a wonderful rendition. Perhaps you are comparing it to the original, and forgetting that this is a little kid rendering a very intense Kailash Kher song. To compare would be foolish. And so if we look at it from the perspective of a rendition, then it was outstanding.

As for the author's note... U have got to be kidding if u thought aamir's song wasn't good enuf!!!...it was the best til date!... i LOVED it...just stop doing whatever u were.... and listen to it one more time😛

After ur statement,I actualy went back and listened to many of his performances again 😊....Th boy is really superb..Hs harkats/murkis are gr8,almost never falters on sur.Typically,I wld not have been able to find a single minus point with him,but since I was looking with a critic's eye,I noticed the following.

Next to lyrics,his weak point is taal.Sonuji commented that his taal was not correct in Saaware.Also listen to 'O jaana' .He makes mistakes with Taal quite a bit.He kinds of rushes up the song,ie,makes the rhythm slightly faster over a period of time.....He does this in the mukhda and in the alaap...Also when he starts the first line 'O jana',he starts on the wrong beat.He shld've started it a second late.But this gets covered up since the musicians are good and they adjust accordingly.

Saw him make a slight mistake in Sur once-in the antara of Chakke pe chakke.He picked it up at the wrong place and stopped(realised his mistake).The musician dada then played it in the right place for him and he picked it up.

But these are like nit picking for the sake of it.He is basically very good.Needs to work on the lyrics and taal a li'l more.And as,Gopalbhai, had pointed ,he is probably too playful and takes singing too lightly.He needs to get more serious abt his talent..Then the sky is his limit 😊

As far as i am concerned whatever performance any singer gives to the maximum level best in terms of both technical and expression point of view, will be considered as standard, as that reflects the capability. Any subsequent better performance will revise the standard, any worse performance will be considered below their (individual) standard. 😉
