Of course it is difficult to judge Amir for this song as this song has been sung umpteen no of times in the singing shows till now with rainbow of opinions swearing by a particular performance to be the best rendering till date!!

Gopal bhai you are right Saaware was the Pinnacle of lil champs 07 when he sang it and Aamirs finest performance. Sumhow though i liked his "Teri Deewani" more i felt it more and had a lot of soul into the performance, hehe Saaware was more harder to sing and even harder to sing well. Jo bhi hoh yaar! I am just happy everyone here love both the performances hehe even though some like one better than the others!. 👏👏👏

Gopalbhai luvs the song "Saaware" which Mussarat also sang very well. Saaware is a more difficult song to sing, especially for kids. We have our favourites, but when he sang "Teri Dewani" the judges were extremely pleased and even got a hug n a kiss from Sonuji.

You could be right . When Amir does not forget the lyrics he is simply an amazing singer. To me Amir rendered "Sanware" masterfully showing the intricate portions of the song delicately yet clearly, wheres he rendered "Teri diwani.." skillfully. But then my comparison is between Amir's own two particular performances and that is how i see it which as you say might be colored by my liking for the song "Sanware.." ..

You are right as my ears are not musically trained. Hope he maintains his concentration and training.

I too liked his performance of 'Teri Deewani' very much..wwld probably rate it as his best to date.....But then he was equally good in Saaware too.And Saaware is a much more difficlt song to sing.....Both performances were almost equally good, but I liked Teri deewani a wee bit better(maybe I'm mpre familiar with the song 😊 )

Thanx for bringing it up Bob da and Rock n Roll bhai. Even i thought "Saaware" was the height and the pinnacle of his performance, But i am even more blown away by "Teri Deewani" Gopal bhai seems very knowledgeable and prolly has experience with music himself. Even i would like to know what is Aamir's standard ? was Saaware and Teri Deewani the pinnacle or could / should we except better? 😛

It is true that Amir's performances have fluctuated between ordinary as well as masterly. He is one of the most inconsistent participant to have participated in Li'l champ. May be our expectations have gone up after "Sanware .." . I do not know what kind of performance he is going to give next . He does not seem to be taking the contest seriously unlike the others who are pretty serious.

I have very carefully listened to all his song over and over again. He is very good and do have some good classical carving in his voice. I see his biggest problem or draw back at this moment is 2 thing one is that he forgets lyrics and he is still trying to break in himself of his voice maturity with his age.

I agree with you Bob da. I do not have Trainned ears to catch the finer details , but i am not totally ignorant of music either. From hearing all his performances over and over again. I think the only thing lacking in his performances is the fact he forgets the Lyrics. I have never heard the judges really nail him for the finer details and technicalities of singing. His performances are not perfect since as Sonu mentioned only the "Original" is perfect in essense a 10 out of 10 performance. Where as the contestants are mimicing the songs and comming as close to the 10 as possible. I would deffinately like to know in the finer details and technicality where is he lacking? just to broaden my perspective of music as well and to get a better musical understanding on one of my favourite contestants who is steadily climbing to the #1 spot in my own Top 4 of favourites hehe 😆😆😆.
