Sa Re Ga Ma Pa celebrates Kareena's birthday
Kareena Kapoor visited the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa this week to promote her forthcoming film Jab We Met and launched her film's music. It was double joy for her as the team also celebrated her birthday which falls on Friday, September 21. To find out more about the episode we spoke to one of the contestants Amanat.
He told us, "She cut her birthday cake on the sets. I dedicated a song to her which was picturised on her grandfather Raj Kapoor - pyaar hua ikraar hua. Raj ji was from Lahore and so am I. When I finished the song she felt so emotional that she literality had tears in her eyes and stood up and clapped for me."

Amanat goes on add, "Second time when I went on stage, I sang you are my soniya. She joined me on stage, shook a leg with me and told me 'you are mind blowing'. I gifted her a salwar kameez which is a specialty of Lahore and asked her to open it immediately. She liked it and thanked me."
He further says, "While she was leaving the set, Himesh asked her to wait and requested her to dance with Aneek saying 'bacha khush ho jayega'.
This week Sumeeda from Bappi Lahiri's Josh gharana got eliminated. She was the last contestant left in Bappi's gharana.
The Kareena special episode will be aired on Saturday.
