As far as technicalities, consistancy and performances are concerned, Harpreet was no less than Amanat. So why not harpreet.

Please try to live in present forget about past....and no match with Amanat with anybody.😉

I forgot to add... Harpreet deserves a place in top 5 but is certainly does not match Amanat ...Amanat deserves to be a winner!!

Well I thought Amanat failed "technically" in his rendition of Koi Mil Gaya. His performance was great and it seemed like it overshadowed his singing too. But I guess no-one inc. the mentors wanted to take notice of that. 😕

Kya baat hai..Very correct observation..I too though the same..But was not sure..

Its true.. he wasn't perfect technically.He made up with his performance. However that does not take anything away from the brilliant singer that he is.

This TOP 5 is perfect for me! (Please don't think I arranged the names specifically or sumthing!)

But that means he isn't technically perfect and others CAN be better than him. His sur wasn't right and he forgot words as well but he still got plenty of votes because all the mentors decided to get up and applaud him. Based on Saturdays performances, Sumi was better (on about singing here) technically yet because she recieved no hype hence she doesn't recieve as many votes as him. 😕 And that is the truth.

Amanat was applauded coz a he is proving his mettle in a new genre.. and he performed like never before coming of the "Shy tag"..

Now about Sumi, Yes Sumi performed brilliantly well last 2 weeks & with the last performance in mind she deserves to be here... however on weeks when Harpreet & Junaid got eliminated she wasnt performing as well.

I guess performance wins over vocals here. 😕

When Junaid got elimated she had Chupke Se which is considered as one of her best performances so far and before that she had her qawalli which was fantastic. When Harpreet left she had Kabhi neem neem. 😊 All great performances proving that she deserves to be where she is at the moment.

My top five would be:
Amanat
Mussarat
Poonam
Aneek
Mauli

Mauli and mussarat because they are the ones most likely to make it
in Bollywood as they have unique voices and style although they may
not be versatile or technically correct (mauli). The others can't make
it as there are tons of established singers in the industry who can sing
the same songs better than them, and within 6 months they'll fade
into oblivion like the past winners. Mussarat being a Sufiana singer has
only competition from Kailash Kher and rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and
mauli will rock in any Americanised Raunchy number, no matter what
her deficiences are. Sumedha can only make it as an actress who also
sings and Junaid might make it as a Pop star. The rest are generic
singers like lots of others.
