There are many who have said Amanat here in the posts too, but few Aneek.. Maybe we have that similar choices 😳 Even me in the previous post mentioned that it could either be Amanat or Aneek 😊 So, i can gv a 55-45 for Aneek and Amanat 😳

As we know not all "good to hear" singers are not technically perfect, unfortunately this is the case with Raja. He needs to work on a number of things. He has to work on his low notes for sure, voice modulation is not outstanding either. He also has to work on his diction sometimes. For me he kind of "on and of" type singer.

Amanat

He is technically very strong.His only weakness as many people pointed out in this thread is diction. I think it can be worked out in recordings. My vote for strongest singer goes to him.

Aneek

He is one the most strongest but may be hairwidth behind amanat in terms of technicallity. He sings with a lot of feeling, his voice modulation is superb and the controll is great. A truely gifted one.

Poonam

She is technically very much like aneek in the girl form. the biggest drawback is she tend to miss the "sur" sometimes. Really outstanding.

Sumedha
She is probably weakest in the top 5. She needs to practice how to controll the "sur" first. Most of the time I found her very mechanical. This is not a very big problem to overcome and that is why I feel BL should be blamed. He probably was so busy promoting Mauli he messed with the better singer in his gharana. Sorry to comment in this thread but I can not express my irritation when he walked out following mauli's ouster. He should be really taken care of in the next challange.

Anu, most of the supporeters will vote their fav anyway whatever the topic is. I think no one shd go by the poll. I think it wd be better idea to look at the individual post and summarize.

After going through all the 68 post by music analysts on this topic my vote goes to Amanat giving him a total of 81 votes making him a clear winner in this poll. Even if he has to improve his diction he is the master of all other aspects and technicals to sing all kinds of songs.

Aneek's breathe control will improve as soon as he get rid of his love guru/mentor. For me Aneek's voice at time sounds kiddish, timid and weak. His sur, delivery and control vis a vis the track is wonder full. His choice of songs are mostly sonu's perfect numbers which are already winners.

I will place Aneek ahead of Amanat if he could sing songs other then sonu and impress the way he does when he sings sonu.

Answer to the bolded part - The song Kal ho na ho is sung by Sonu and he did not do justice to it.. While on friday he sang Kishoreda number and impressed everyone.. He has sung Zubein's Ya Ali and impressed the audience.. He has sung those punjabi numbers and also got the equal appreciation..

b4begin stated right about Sumedha and Raja.. Regarding Amanat, he has also been called a ghazal singer.. I feel he is strong in that genre though he is versatile and same goes for Aneek too.. He is versatile while he is strong for the mainstream Sonu type of songs.. I guess people feel this because he has always been choosing Sonu songs, while he must try more and also because of his voice quality..

Whenever Aneek is mentioned, invariably the argument of him being a copycat of Sonu, surfaces which is a little unfair i think. But at the same time i feel, looking at the walk out drama, love story, blasting Raja for his overconfidence by HR, playing Layi vi na gayee music on Mauli's exit to make it emotional, alongwith the mentor fights that somehow SRGMP is trying to follow the same script as the one on Sony TV. Isn't it funny that whatever happens on that show is again repeated here and then this drama is again repeated on the show on Star.

So my intuition tells that Aneek in the coming weeks is going to be confronted with being a second Sonu by one of the mentors(mostly probably ID or V) and then HR is going to counter it and then we can witness a big WWF fight on the sets of SRGMP(those who follow sony's show will agree with me)😉😆😆
