Semi Final (Updated)-Mentors Thread

Welcome to Round 12 or the Semi Final Round -Mentors' Thread !

In the semifinals, there will be two themes.The participants have to sing one song of each theme.

Theme for Song 1 : Rural/Sufi/Folk from Hindi Movie (Lan.: Hindi)

Theme for Song 2 : Ghazals (Any from private album to hindi movie will do)

There is no change in the rules. All your entries should be submitted to your respective mentors on time so that he or she can post the songs here on the last day of Semi Final Round submissions by the deadline. The result of Round 11will be announced AFTER the songs of Semi Final round are posted. The ones who are eliminated, their songs will not be sent to the judges. And if for any reason the last date gets extended then the results will also be posted on that extended last date.

12th Sep ,until 12 MIDNIGHT, PT(North America)

Can the rural/folk song be in any language or should it be in Hindi?

It should be in hindi...to be specific from Hindi Films. I hav edited the main post now with full details.

OK then. Raju will sing "Nain lad jai he" from Ganga Jamuna in the folk category. In the ghazal category, I would like him to take up "Ai husn zara jaag" from Mere Mehboob but of course there are many other choices.

This is to inform all the mentors. the date for result submission is being extended by one day i.e. 13th midnight US timings. one of the judges needed the extension.
