Thanks for this excellent article!
If a contestant is able to move me emotionally by his/her songs then that is it.This is what makes him my favorite.

Excellent analysis 👏

i remember Raja shining through even when he was in the Ekalavya gharana ... i always thot he was better than some regular gharana contestants ... when he was not chosen the first two times, it left me wondering as to what i am missing and why he is not being chosen 😊 and the final time i was literally praying that he be chosen ...
yes the poor guy has indeed worked hard and i hope his hard work pays

@ kiti_g: Same here! When they showed clips of Eklavya performances, I thought Raja sounded the best out of the four. I was so surprised when Himesh (who had the first pick) chose Brijesh for Ismail's gharana over Raja!
