Aneek's performance going down?

When Aneek came into the show he was giving really good performances. Recently his singing has gone down. I wonder what the reason is... May be its because of that triangular love story. I really hope he stays away from these things and concentrate on his singing.

Infact today is the first time during Aneek's performance that I felt he came out of Sonu's shadow, when he sang "Bulla ki jaana main kaun" (and also when he sang "Yamma Yamma" in the beginning)..

But I've said this before also, I kind of have a block towards him, am sort of indifferent when it comes to him..and I think its bcos of the way he got an entry into C2007, directly into the Agnipariksha round..

Jadooji, I agree to the part where u say that there is no uniqueness in his voice..and its more and more obvious bcos of his selection of mostly Sonu Nigam songs..

Due to his mentor or his limitation to sing only Sonu songs... I am really dissapointed with his performance recetnly... Today's was good performance but he is lacking the punch in his song which does not touch the heart... May be his voice is so typical, can'f find uniqueness in his voice.

He was not able to get a hold on the song today, especially with Mussarat's compartive version of the same singer right next to him, it became very glaring

Aneek is very good in Sonu songs, I would say bad song selection today, but everyone has one once in a while

I thought he gave a very good performance today compared to others. Past two weeks his song choice was not good. No one to me sings a song as perfect as Aneek. Whether is being tagged as Sonu's shadow or not, that does not make him less talented than others. Then what should we say about Mussarat or Raja or Mauli, they mostly sing songs by NFAK-RFAK/Sukhwinder-Kailash Kher/Sunidhi. Aneek also sang songs by Zubin, Soham, Rafi, Rabbi, AR Rahman, Lavh Januja, Kamal Khan.

I just have the feeling that some just can't digest the fact that he came in the middle and became so famous, making it look tough for their favourite contestants. So, leave no chance to put him(performance) down. Khair, pasand apni apni.

You are right.Aneek has sang different genre songs and he is doing his best.I do not bother about how Zee have introduced his entry and he has very good voice and quality.I am sure if Adesh or JatilLAlit is here, they will appreicate Aneek's singing because they go for voice quality and good singing.

I am also expecting something different from Raja,Mussarat and Mauli.Maybe this three contestants are not able to try other type of singing due to their voice may not suit to other genre.I have seen Aneek,Harpreet,Poonam,Amanat singing other type of singing.

I am glad on one thing that though some of the forum viewers do not like Aneek but indirectly they do not realize that they are putting some high expectation on Aneek to give his level best.

Guys who say Aneek is not good don't know anything of songs

I Agree, he is not improving as much as expected by the audience and judges. Compared to his earlier performances now his performances are not that good. Also his song selection is bad.

the thing is that the expectations for him are very high now
