Aneek bothers me - Page 4

I had not liked Aneek's song choices and still dont like it.... if he is capable he should select more tougher songs then only he can compete amaanat, raja and mussarat.....

so as such i dont like him the best 😊

I am not defending Aneek but I love his singing.

I am quite surprised to hear that Aneek sings pretty easy songs. I think that from his entry till today, he has sung different types of songs and none of the songs were so easy to sing. He has sung soft romantic numbers, fast rock songs, raaga based songs and have excelled in all. The alaaps that he takes are not so easy. He sings high notes as well as low notes with the same ease. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes but, I don't thing that it is correct to say that he sings songs which are easier to sing compared to the other singers.

Aneek is a very complete singer and he is a music director's dream as he can handle most of the songs made for movies; especially the modern fast ones with plenty of rap, rhythm and beat. Almost impossible to find another one like him so young, versatile and talented. He appeals to the younger generation more and also to older romantics. The competions standard rose when he came aboard. Now everyone is excelling as well. I also like the performances of the others for certain song types.

One thing I'd like to add is that even if Aneek was in the competition since the beginning, he'd have brilliantly passed all the elimination rounds. I kind of agree to what you say that they should have competed from the beginning. There is no doubt about that. But, when you have already been promised by Zee TV to come from the bramhastra round then how will you go for the auditions. To tell you the truth, all these things are created so that these controversies go on for ever and Zee TV comes No.1. Lots of things are done in the show that should not be there. As far as Raja is concerned, I like him. He has got a very good smile. But, he has forgot his lyrics more than once. But, still he is there. So, nothing is fair. Mauli's getting No.1 and 30 points is not fair. Himesh's not supporting Sreshta(though she performed better and she was from his gharana)and saying that Mauli is the star of the show is not fair. Salman's taking off Aneek's shirt and no one opposing and making him perform like that was not fair. So, there are quite a few things which should not be there. Amanat, according to me should complain to the Zee TV producers that why he was not promised an entry like the other two when he is also a winner.

I think in the long run it woud have harmed Amanat if he had a direct entry. We have seen him from the very beginning hence the attachment we feel for Amanat... had he come inbetween people wud already have thier favorites and I dont think it wud have augured well for Amanat!!! Frankly am glad I got to hear more of him as he was there from the beginning.

The best part about Aneek is that he cannot be slotted into any genre. His tonal quality changes with every song. That's the reason he comes across as the most versatile among boys, though Apurva followed closely behind in terms of versatility (but sadly eliminated).

Raja and Amanat are also hugely talented with tremendous range...but it's just that their tonal quality doesn't change much so one might get the feeling they are singing similar songs.

I agree with swifthorse that Amanat's being in the competition from the beginning has helped him to build up his fan base from the beginning. The other two, Aneek and Abhijit have lost out on that. But, I am happy that Aneek has been able to build up a fanbase even after entering the competition late. I guess it is because of his tremendous singing capability. If he was there from the beginning, he would have had more fans and have got more votes.

I agree. It's not Aneek's fault. Yet, he's probably gonna lose out on votes coz of this controversy. Andy, your view is not correct (I FEEL) if u r blaming Aneek. Yes, his entry WAS unfair, but it was not his fault!
People who hold views like yours...they're correct about his entry being unfair, but the problem is that there are many such people and bcoz of this, Aneek is gonna lose out on a lot of votes even if he gives a performance 100000 times better than the others .
His entry was unfair, but since he's proved himself, not liking his singing bcoz of his entry WILL be unfair to a terrific singer like him! 😕
