Aneek bothers me

Hi all,

no offense to any of Aneek's fans here. I'm just expressing my opinion, and am open to hear what u have to say as well, but plz be polite.

No matter how well Aneek have been singing, I've never liked him, neither will I be able to like him in future as well because the fact that he has already won SRGMP Bengal through public voting, keeps on bothering me n never makes me like him. (same goes with abhijit)

I like Amanat and I do know that he has already won Dubai SRGMP, but atleast he didn't win it through public voting. He won it through the judgement of music directors like BL and ID, which makes me like him more. Moreover, Amanat had to go through the selection process again to get selected by ID to participate in the world challenge. He didn't get a straight entry.

In short, Aneek bothers me a lot, even more than mauli. Two people I don't want to win this competetion at all are Mauli and Aneek and it's pissing me off big time to see them on the top 2 spot this week.

Just curious to know is there any1 like me or people will just go crazy defending Aneek.

Aneek did not win SRGMP Bengali through public voting. He won it through the judgement of music directors and singers only. There was no public voting. There were quite a few rounds and Aneek sang really well to win the competition.

I like aneek..he is versatile and sings well...His direct entry was kinda unfair at first but luking at how well he sings I think its okay😊

yeah there's something about aneek and abhijeet that i don't like...........maybe its the way they were brought in.

both of them are good singers but i dunno, something just doesn't click with them.

agree with the comments made by sareg. dont want to see mauli, aneek or joy win........i dont see that happening somehow.

one question though, if in the other srgmp contests the contestants won by being judged by music directors and singers.........why have they not used that method for this particular SRGMP C2007?

thanx for the info, but I believe Aditya himself said that he won through public voting. even if I forget that, how can u ignore his unfair entry. If this is the case, y didn't Amanat get direct entry??

Aneek is a good singer, but this reminds me of a good example given by ID- Australia has won world cup thrice, but this does not give them direct entry into world cup finals.They too hv to compete all over again...I felt he was right.

I was in Kolkata and watched the show when Aneek won the SRGMP Bengali. So, I don't know how Aditya can say such a thing. That is totally wrong. I remember that there were two boys and one girl in the finals. Debojit was the host of the show. About their entry, actually it is not their fault. The other thing is that, they were supposed to come in the bramhastra round and it was in the hands of the public to select them. That was kind of a joke. When only Bengal and Maharashtra knew these two and the whole world has to vote for them, they did not stand a chance of getting an entry, because all the others has already made their fan bases. It was the judges who decided to give them each a gharana. So, blame the judges and not those two. Also, seeing how Aneek is singing I don't think that he would have been out. I agree that SRGMP C07 should also be judged by good judges and public voting should not be there.

U won't believe but I also have had this same thing on my mind for a long time..ever since that Brahmastra phase where these two were introduced to us in the national/international level..

For one thing, to state it simply, I did not like them being entered directly into the final 14, bypassing the auditions and preliminary and Mahaguru rounds..yes we can contemplate that they would've won those rounds and come this far for sure..but let's not assume anything here, especially looking at the politics and strategies that goes on these so-called reality shows..

Thats the difference maybe between them and Amanat like u and someone else pointed out..he went thru the whole selection process and reached here like everyone else..

I know Sarmita and I agree that its not Aneek or Abhijeet's fault in any of this..but inspite of everything I can't make myself to like him or enjoy him being here in the top 10..somehow their entry into Saregamapa C2007 seems very unfair to me..

I like Aneek and It will be great if he reaches the Final!
