in bengali , his hit song is "chiro dinee , tumi jey amar, joogey joogey ami tomari"...he often sings this song in the show as well , changing a few words here and there to suit the mood of the occasion...the original song is really nice and was a super-duper hit in Bengal during the late 80s.

Bappi da is a legend in the industry. Yes he did lift a lot of the songs during the 80's though 😆 😆 😆. He gave Alisha Chinai her first break and she was his prodigy. Almost any 80's to late 80's Mithun da movie u pick up will have music in it by Bappi da. Also i have 8 albums full of Bappi da's hits not many MD's have had that much of hits or an over all influence in the music world as much as him. They dont call him the "Disco" king for nothing hehe but then even Mithun da is in that catergory 😆

Raunaq,

Bappi has had a lot of hits during the 80's with the introduction of the disco beat and thus a new genre of songs and music..I personally am not a big fan of his..most of his songs have been "inspired" from western numbers..most of the time I havent quite felt his composition melodious..

P.S. Taxi No 9211 songs were composed by VS, and one of the songs was sung by Bappi..
