it aint rocket science. just that her voice or whetever is highly irritating. if being in sur and taal or not being nasal etc was all that music was about, then we could get technology to deliver that for us. but it would not sound as warm or appealing as a naturally gifted singer with a great voice. cant quantify such things😊

That is all right!!! I did not find her voice irritating though. That means like me some will not find her irritating if not appealing. 😃

sarika is really bad! my ear aches when she sings.Sarberi is good singer but need to improve her dressing and posture while on stage.

well... if u like her dats diff story...i mean ur opinion..cant argue on dis...but really can't imagine..her as a playback singer😕 seems like shes juss tryin to copy da tyle...not her original tone!! i guess shez tryin to copy lata-ji...but sorry u can not reach there honey.😳

Sarika's singing does not hv any flaw as such. Her sur, tal, lay, techniques evrythg is perfect but the only problem is her voice, she is not a nasal singer; but her voice originally is like tht. U can always make out who is a nasal singer and who is not..Sarika's voice sounds like tht but shez not a nasal singer, I can be sure of tht..
She has given so many performances, but never, ever she has made a mistake anywhere be it sur, tal or techniques whereas if u take any of the other girls who r in final round now (except Sumedha), they hv all been out of sur someday or other..
I am not a fan of hers bcoz like others I find her voice not soothing(if not tht irritating); but its not her mistake anyways..Voice is God's gift.. If u take voice as a parameter, then even Mauli shd not be in.. 😉

The only song from Sarika that I loved is Umrao Jaan Number and it is flawless !!

I agree wid all ya here, she sang better on the day she was eliminated. she was okay in the song himani sang, i forgot the name

Yes, if voice is a parameter than there is no need to make them sing various songs, because voice is something which you can hardly do anything about !! So judging naturally should be based on execution of Sur, Tal and their ability to show individual styles without deviating from original essence of the song they are singing!!😃

To be honest, I have never really liked Sarika's voice that much at all. There's something about it which i just dun think is good enough to be a playback singer... she is quite nasal, that's probably something she can control, but every song i've heard from her, it just sounds so.. old? 😕 She's oky in the sur department, but I'm not a big fan and don't really think she's a very good singer.
