as for the other stuff, well, this aint some olympics kinda competition where one should be able to stretch the chords this way and that, get this in sur and that in taal.😛 it's about someone who can sing well. and i think that means at a bare minimum someone who's pleasant and easy on the ears. not someone like sarika😉

I just hope you are not contradicting yourself . As per you , it voice comes into sharper focus if they singe all kinds of stuff. I think you are actually getting to know how much capable singer they are in different genres. 😃

But i bet you will not allow singers like Sarika to sing another song of different genre once you have heard her very first time, right ? 😉

i agree with you. she has perfect sur, and if you just listen to her singing, its great. and she really isn't a item number singer, her voice reminds me of lata mangeshkar when she was really young, the voice seems similar to sareeka

no contradictions here. now lemme try this again: if someone does not open their mouth, it's very hard to get a handle on their voice, no?😛 if someone just shouts, we can at best know how their voice sounds when they shout, no? same thing when they sing and try out different stuff. hope you get the point now. 😛

now here's a related point. someone can be in total sur and taal and all that jazz and yet grate on the ears. yes?😛

If the mentors want to judge her on sur ... everytime she sings the higher notes.. she falls flat..
I dont know..why the mentors always over look that..

I totally agree with most of you here .She is too nasal and i dont think Vishal and Shekhar are going to give her a great break .They might let her sing few lines in their album.No offense please 😃

I have no disagreement with you regarding making them sing songs of various genres and ranges. This way we will get to know their true quality of voice.
I correct myself if i got the wrong impression from your posts that you are dismissing singers simply because their voice does not sound pleasant to your ears.
There are some successful singers out there whose voice does not sound pleasant to my ears, but their being successful itself proves that there may be equal or more nos of listeners for whom it is not irritating at least!!😊

I was tired of judges praising her...now i am relieved ..finally she didn't make the Brahmastra cut😃 No more of her annoying thin voice🤢

hehe ofcourse i knew alot of ppl didnt like her..it was juss judges only😡

public knows everythn....well..judges tried alot though..and wut happened?? u all know it.😉
