Aha, I notice that you are giving your views and saying "this is what the public feels" 😆

Sahana...i dont really think you want detailed analysis that too from a process engineer...ek observation se hi yeh haal hain .,getting so patronising.....dont think you want that ....😆.well for me all contestants are the same.So their doing well finally is what matters...ab kisko single genre songs gaana hain, kisko versatile hona hain, thats their mentors and their lookout,. and finally the judges.

As far as me being voice of public again you missed out on the sentence and jumped the gun....😊

I clearly said "this is the opinion of this public" and not "the public"... now when one says "the public" and one says "this public", there is a difference -right.

well , enough has been said about this, and therefore I will abstain...aaj section mein debatable aur koi topic nahi mila kya?😆

I agree that most contestants are focusing on their strengths by sticking to a certain song type. However, as mentors, I think it is more important to ensure that our contestants stay in the competition long enough to display versatility in the latter rounds. That is the biggest problem with a competition with so many rounds. You dont want to get booted off on account of a single bad performance.

As far as the judges choice is concerned, I think the judges have picked songs very carefully to test each contestant in a particular area that has not been displayed before. The judges choice round is going to be tough for ALL contenders. What is easy for some is not easy for the others.

And Aparna, don't worry, you are not going anywhere. 😆

Exactly my thoughts!!! 👍🏼

And Tanaz I think now we two are maybe talking Himesh's language.😆

Wow - this is some real interesting conversation... I would agree to what all the mentors have voiced here.... Within the wide variety of genre that is provided as a guideline in each round, there can be so many different songs, and the singers would actually choose the one where I think they can give their more than 100%... and even within that, I think we have seen a lot of variety from some of the singers, and thats awesome... I would actually agree with Sahana here as the songs that she and Sarita together seem to have chosen for the various rounds have been very different and I have enjoyed them a lot... Same with a lot of others too....

The songs selection by the judges has been just wonderful and I think they want to test the singers in troubled waters... And I am sure, the singers will do well with that too... The coming rounds will have a lot of different kinds of themes and that will provide more variety, but if you ask me, I am very eager to listen to the common song round... I think that will be great criteria to assess, how our talented singers can sing the same song in their own unique style 😊

Very well said Tanaz 👏

Agree that most contestants have got challenging song for round 10, but not ALL the contestants 😛 . Its just my opinion, others need not agree.😆

As Jaya said, the common song round will be the real test when everyone sings the same song.

True. The same song can help prove the mettle of a contestant..but again there is something...some contestants have to work harder on the song compared to some because there is a possibility that not all are well aquainted with the song.Jo jeeta wohi sikander !👏

The judges have chosen fabulous songs and that shows the judges have been very minutely watching and judging the contestants too..hats off..and it surely can help with the versatility range issue...👏

Tanaz I agree with your viewpoint too. Showcase strength.Seems Himesh Reshamiya did make sense after all. But what is ironic is that there are some, who ran down his idea when he stated it and now seem to be in support😆...chalo...der aaye durust aaye...lekin himmy bhaiya ka point atleast makes sense to many now...😆😉

😆 I actually agreed completely with Himesh on that point while he defended Mussarrat. I thought he made a lot of sense.

I have a suggestion ...
can we have a round where the contestents will sing oldies..meaning songs of K.L. sehgal ji, suriya, noorjahan etc...only..it doesnt have to be a compititive round but a fun round..Iam curious to see how those songs will sound...
what you all think?
