My parting note from this wonderful thread. First of all, I ditto Adi in saying...How come you get away with being grilled only for 5 days when while we were deep fried for 7 days? This calls for lodging a formal complain with I-dunno-who. 😆 Let me start with congratulating you on completing 50 pages in the MOTW thread. The way the thread started, I was pretty sure of your hitting a century but the only reason this thread missed the century was that each run (read: page) was loaded with beautiful shots..not cheeky singles. Your answers were well thought, straight from the heart, eloquent, expressive.

These 50 odd pages pretty much sum up your personality which, in my mind, is a combination of intelligence, jocularity, wisdom and strength-of-character. Subha, you did a fabulous job at keeping the thread moving at a fantastic pace even though your answers were not just run-of-the-mill rebuttals. One trait that I did not mention so far of your character was innovativeness cum creativity because that is nothing new to the members who know you. This thread just served to further highlight that characteristic of yours.

Last but not the least, you learnt the rare art of Lion-O-Liony in a rather short time.. 😆

Answer to your question, It was University of Roorkee when I passed now it's IIT Roorkee. I think it lost personal touch which was there... I see more securities & all other thins which lost a feel like My University....(sad to say that) Alternative profession would have been Lecturer as I love teaching.

Manju di - I will give her CDs of old rare gems of Mukesh & Lata, ask her for Kagaz ke phool DVD. I will ask her 1. How did she notice changes in IIT from when she attended and now, 2. What would have been her second choice of profession? Adi - I would give him rocking poster collection of Banff jasper - depicting all seasons! I would ask him for a bottle of Italian wine- any red. I will ask him- 1. why did he laugh at the idea of falling in love? 2. Does he feel that falling in love can be controlled? ;)
Jaya- I will get her a collection of timeless classics of Amitabh and ask her to get me all the Pre-aishwarya/ non-aishwarya movies of Abhishek.. :) - 1. I will ask her who her favorite writer is, 2. Why she doesn;t post more in DM? Rahul - I will get him the entire collection of Devanand song CDs, and also old gems of Lata collections- all of them. I will ask him for? too easy to guess - a sailing trip :) I will ask him - 1. what distinguishes random friends and true friends in RL? , 2. does he feel that MUSIC would have missed out if Lata were to be a painter instead of a singer Moe- I will get her all movies of John Ab and Arjun Rampal. I will ask her to get me Gangster DVD. I will ask her -1. does she ever wish she were not so bindaast, 2. how would it be different it she were a quiet person Sim- I will give her a DDLJ poster and SRK collection.
