Is there any motto you live your life by?not really. pretty much take every day as it comes although i have a vague idea where i am heading. for instance, i've often walked into some of the most important meetings in my life with a script, but never knowing what i would say for sure. somehow it would work well going spontaneous
Have you read Linda Goodman's Sun Signs, especially the chapter on Scorpio Male? Do you think she has described you well? 😊haha, someone from my distant past once pointed it out to me. i think it's fairly accurate when it comes to me, though i'd like to think of myself as less vengeful in RL
Would you ever think of moving back to India and living happily after you have made your millions?haha, not sure if millions would do it any more with rising prices back home J/K😆
yes, think of it a lot, and miss all the fun and apnapan back home. but the consolation i have for now is that my investment work does take me back very often since India is an investment destination on the radar of all of us venture capital/ hedge fund types
Would you find it boring to stay in an Indian village for say one week?no. have actualy spent time with my dad visiting with union leaders who stayed in villages. also we've had farmland from times past, before these got synonymous with the lavish life-style. so have a good picture of the rural life. in any case, i dont really need a lot of creature comforts to make life exciting for me. i take it if it's tere, but wldnt miss it if it wan't
What is India's biggest gift to the world?the importance of a spiritually rich life. as can be seen from the number of religions which we have spawned or have thrived in India
What irritates you most about Indians in the US (if that can be generalised in any way)?the constant chatter about making money/ real-estate/ stocks. it may be what i do for a living but i am looking for different facets when i am wanting to chill out
Do you think India is losing its best talent to other countries?on a superficial level, yes we've had the exodus of IITians, docs, other professionals. but ultimately, that talent has filtered back home in terms of ideas, money that has flown in
Have you encountered racism ever?no. oh wait. just the mild stuff i suppose. nothing too ominous that i couldn't handle
