I agree, i was so mad to see daler mehndi sitting with the likes of Pt Jasraj ji, apart from a a few tunak tunak bhagra numbers what exactly are his creditials for judging a contest of such high caliber, I think it is very unfortunate for the contestants and what was that ghamandi thing he was saying about nihira, honestly i could'nt relate to that at all, her singing is sweet and soul touching.

I really love the way you are all into sa re ga ma pa so much and especially thnx to pmahesh I love your updates. And I would want to know all your fav singers from the show as many u want. 😊

Hi peacestead, me too... I am not a bengali...don't understand a word of bengali..ofcourse that is what music is all about...while listening to Debojit sing it was a wonderful experience....I forced my wife to listen to debojit during the repeat telecast...

yes anu malik is todays copy king.. his best song payalien chunmum from virasat(and all the songs from that film) is directly lifted from its original thever magan(music by illiaraja and acted by kamal hasan and revti)

no i dont play or sing (though i can play bit of harmonium and can sing a bit in the bathroom) but i am a diehard fan of classical music and espcially old hindi songs
