Saw the 2st and second part of this weeks episode. in 1st part where vineet and nihira got green i was so mad when ismail tried to give his comments on ujjaini and jatin got so agitated etc. they give all kinid of stupid comments to everybody else but can't bear to hear a single thing about their contestants.how hypocritical and anyways i have seen both jatin lalit change their comments depending on whatever suits them.
vishwas was certainly better than irfan, so that is a dissappointment and since only 2 can come back from public vote-i don't know how much chance he has of coming back-there are a lot of favs out there.
ujjaini i like but keka did perform better than her yesterday. ujjaini was somehow not at her best, but she is very young and has lot of time to rise.
and yes, daler "paaji" not a suitable judge at all!!!! and he just has a very bad attitude for a judge..

I think u r looking for raga Bhairavi and Bhairav...

raga bhairav comes under That "bhairav"

notes of the that Bhairav r

sa re(komal) ga ma(shuddha) pa dha(komal) ni SA(Upper)

so try to take few notes before sa and after SA

so ur range will be somting like this...

pa(base),dha(base,komal),ni(base),sa(main sa),re(komal),ga,ma(shuddha),pa,dha(komal),ni, SA(upper), RE(komal),GA,MA,PA

play this thousand times in aroha and avroha(reverse way) then u will know how notes go in thaat bhairav..

Sorry u feel that Nhira has no feeling in her singing.Everytime i have heard her sing I have always felt that she has done it with a lot of feeling.There has to be a reason why all the mentors & judges like her. However you have your opinion and you are entitled to it like i am to mine.

the reason for irfan's selection may be his fresh voice, vishwaas's is more common.

yeah did not see any attitude from nihira, was surprised to see pandit jasraj too confirm daler's comment.

my old grievence: JL - chances of apology to Joyeeta looking any good? maybe ismail too should consider this advise for his treatment of vinita.

In the episode where Vineet got green card, when Himesh closed the argument with Aadesh, he said - Aashiq banaya aapne...did he mean he is going to give a break to Vineet thru this movie?

Rajeev and Himani already given a break by AS. (shown on Challenge 2005 episode)

Debojit and Nihira also had their break in a film either this year or last year. (can hear it on MIO.com)

Dilshad sang in some TV serial (found in an article). Twinkle got an offer to sing for AS.

Nihira sang the 'Dhin tinak dhin dhin dhin na' part in the song Dhadak Dhadak(Bunty aur Babli)....

I just came across this forum today. Sa Re Ga Ma Challenge is one of my favourite programs. All the comments in this forum are very interesting and in some cases instructive also.

It seems that the singers except for Nihira are not putting a consistent effort. Vishwas was just brilliant in the 'Aaja mere jaan' song. But this week he didn't sound so good. Ujjaini also sang her last round song very well(where she was in a tie with Joyeeta). I find her voice very sweet and I thought she was better than Keka in the duet too. But as some people have already pointed out in this forum she was off key. For my average ear she sounded very good. If Abhijeet can stay in the competition on the basis of his earlier efforts I thought Ujjaini should have been given another chance. I think she will go places with the proper backing.

Nihira seems to be a lock for the female winner but there doesn't seem to be an outright leader in the male section. Hemabindu or maybe Debojit with his experience might win it. I for one don't find Abhijeet's voice very appealing. Sharib's 'Lagan man ke lagan' gave me the goose bumps. He sings some songs very well. Rajeev could also be a dark horse.

i am not sure if himani has been given a break. i think she was just accompanying rajeev for his recording.

I think AS said yesterday that Ujjaini already sang for him. Any idea what movie?

Laagi tumse man ki lagan gave me the goose bumps too. I cannot believe a 17 year old kid can sing so intensely.
