I don't know much about Sudhir Phadke except for 2 songs: Jyoti Kalash Chhalke and Lau Lagaati both from Bhabhi ki Chudiyan and both of these are so magnificient that they make the listeners bow their heads with reverence!

Master Ghulam Haider, Shyam Sundar and Bulo C Rani should definitely be included then.
BTW, wasn't it Shyam Sundar who gave Rafi saaheb his first break in films?

I was looking into my archives for something by Sudhir Phadke and found another soundtrack - Sant Janabai. Its been a while since I heard it but looks like Sudhir Phadke might have sung a couple of songs in this movie as well..

would bhupen hazarika be considered a lesser known composer?... or is he ruled out due to being a singer?... i really like the song "dil hoom hoom kare" (rudaali)... relating it to SRGMP 😉 - i loved it when diwakar sang this song- really touched my heart 😊

I remember the song well. It was picturized on Prem Nath .... the last lines chali aa... chali aa...still echos in my ear..
