Dolly - this is art, and ever expanding... here we look for talent - not the winner.... Gauri have a good example and that is already clarified.... The talented guy needs to make it big and needs to have a platform - if he wins, great... if he ends up just below the winner, music does not loose anything.. he still starts off with an advantage than being an anonymous winner 👍🏼

I donot completely agree with you jaya ji on this take.
Being a Winner does makes lot of difference , it does give you lots of confidence , does give you recognizaiton ( which you need at early stage of your life - even if you know you have lots of talent ) - So I think , those who deserver and those are best talented amond all , should be the winner!!😊

What we are saying that - the platform will prove beneficial when the singers who participate here start off with some recognition and have better chances to make it big... When people participate in the decision making process, they connect to the show lot more, they connect to the singers lot more... This automatically leads to the singers being talked about - Media gives them attention and eventually they also get noticed in the circles of movie and music biggies - where it really matters... Hence, even if the best singer does not win - people among the top 5-6 are pretty talented and do get the break.. that is the ultimate motive of the talent hunt show.

The chances of this happening is lot lot more when people are connected to the show.. And the past years are proof of that.. Few of thextremely talented winners of past SRGMP show have lost in anonimity as the people connection was not there, while almost all the 12 finalists of C2005 are better known to one and all and have a much bigger chance to make it big...

That the whole thing about promotion and sustainibility...😊

you are moving away from the topic heading😕..the reason i gave that example was ..to say how the public opinions are manipulated ...since we are more emotionally driven...facters other then singing ....and this si because of public voting.If public voting is not there do you think channel will do all this drama...they need to spend that on their talent ,riyaaz to make sure they shine when go out in real world...the winners we got till now how many will be able to sustain themselves. and why not the best and talented one should get the prize why not...

Yes - give the best and talented guy the prize - SRGM has been doing that for the last 10 years or so.. How many of them did people remember after the show was over, hhow amny people even watched the show (even in India)... So what is the point of getting the best winner?

Atleast let there be singers identified out of the show who can start off with an advantage.. I am not saying that they will all make it big.. No they will not.. But atleast they start off their next struggle with a lot of advantage - and that is very very important for them!

Yes being the winner definitely gives u a boost - perfectly agreed... But recognition comes from how many people have followed your path to be the winner or your journey.. SRGM has had lot of winners in the past - all decided by judges... the best talent as per the learned judges - have they started with the recognition? NO! how many people in India even know the names of the past winners...

srgmp'ji - the recognition comes with the people following your path to success, and not just the destination - and since recognition is the very important factor to make it big along with talent.. I would anyday go with the option that provides the singers with the recognition to start with 👍🏼

To me - its a talent hunt show! Winner or not - as long as the talent is identified - the purpose is served... 👍🏼

And if we look at it.. the majority whom we (the people agai) think should be winner are usually in the top 5, and by that time of their journey they are sufficiently recognized to break through... And that is important 😊
