I am not anti Hemachandra but in this song Sonu was simply too good!

The original question was which do you like better/prefer?

The answers should have been either

Hema, ofcourse OR
Sonu, Ofcourse.

But when we get into answers like:

"I feel sorry for u guys" and others on the same line,

it kind of digresses from the whole post, IMO

None of the Hema fans said anything negative about Sonu. But I can't say the same about the the non-Hema fans.

Bhale ji, the only place we can safely praise Hema, without this type of nonsense is in the Hema fan club. Any and every thread intended to praise Hema, ends up this way.

I have heard Hariharan sing this song (in another language, though). And HE was the BEST, IMO. According to me that was the original, and NOBODY bettered that.

yes Hariharan is the orijinal singer ....i heard Hariharans version first so when it was remade in Hindi it was not the same ......i did not feel the same magic .......i like sonu but for this song i prefer Hariharan .....as for Hema he is still very young .....it would be unfair to compare a new budding singer to sonu or Hariharan who got their fame only after struggling for so many years.😊

I agree Sreejan ji. When it was remade, I couldn't totally appreciate the song. I was partial to Hariharan's

Sonu sang well, no question about that.

Again, nobody is saying that Hema is better than Sonu (the comparison makes no sense whatsoever). He has a long way to go. But one can still prefer someoone's rendition over another's right?

sorry, are we having a comprehension problem here? the above quote in bold came from karishma, the bindiqueen, not from me. so perhaps the "huh" in your post shld be directed to the bindiqueen, no? 😉btw, isnt that a form of personal value attack, or do we have exceptions now?
