'Caught him in the SECOND month': Dhanashree Verma's SHOCKING revelation about marriage with Yuzvendra Chahal

Choreographer and digital creator Dhanashree Verma, currently seen on the reality show Rise And Fall hosted by Ashneer Grover, recently made headlines after sharing personal details about her marriage during a candid conversation with fellow contestants.

During a breakfast-table chat with actor Kubbra Sait, Dhanashree revealed that her relationship began to fall apart early on. When Kubbra asked, 'When did you realise in your relationship that, ‘Bhai, yeh nahi chal sakta, yeh mistake ho gaya hai abhi?’ Dhanashree replied, 'First year. Caught him in the second month,' leaving Kubbra visibly shocked.

Dhanashree and Chahal were married in December 2020 and officially divorced in March this year. While they largely kept their separation private, speculation around the split remained constant — particularly around rumours that Chahal had paid Rs 60 crore in alimony.

Addressing these claims on the show, Dhanashree clarified that the divorce was mutual and that the alimony rumours were baseless. 'It happened quickly because it was mutual. That’s why when people say alimony, it’s wrong. Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything?' she said. 'My parents have taught me to only justify to people whom I care about. Why waste time explaining to those who don’t even know you?'

In another conversation with journalist Nayandeep Rakshit, she spoke about how the false narratives affected her. 'Eventually, you get hurt when you see that happening. It was not needed. None of it is true. I felt worse wondering why did he do it? It’s okay, I will always keep his respect, that is what I believe in.'

Reflecting on her four-year marriage, Dhanashree also shared that she’s not ready to consider dating again. 'Now, I don’t think I can date anybody,' she said.

Her statements have sparked conversation among viewers, not only for what she revealed but also for how directly she addressed ongoing speculation.
