I am appealing to all members to maintain this tone. I couldn't believe what I was reading in some of the posts last night. Comeone, many here are educated people, don't talk like that even if you disagree with someone or something.

And some here are kids. Do you want them to read such profanity? would you like your family to read what you write? SRGM is just another serial. Enjoy the music, take the good things, point out the bad things and move on.

Interesting they chose Cal. How much interest will they generate? OF course Cal is more cosmopolitan and has people from all over. Bengal as a whole though is mostly more bothered about Rabindrasangeet.

Personally I developed my interested in Hindi music cos I grew up PARADOXICALLY in the south that Tabu claims doesn't listen to Hindi programmes.

No wonder Raktima and Ujjaini got voted out so fast. I remember Ujjaini got only 3 something lakh votes when she was voted out. Even Debo is Bengali by origin, but I don't think Cal is that bothered.

It is true that in the smaller towns no one even speaks Hindi so they will definitely not watch this program. The cities are more cosmopolitan so they will watch.
Here in the US, I have alot of friends from South India who never saw Hindi movies when they grew.
So Tabu was not really wrong when she spoke.

people must have already made up their mind whether they want to vote for

wouldn't matter. So negative publicity (lyrics or no lyrics in front of
contestants) at this stage of the competition may be a moot point.

Abhi, in earlier SRGM, there used to be a chord round, remember? the contestant had to pick up the song from a given chord within seconds. another round was taal round, when the beats of the song were altered and the contestants had to adjust the song to different beats imprompto. That was the true litmus test. many faltered here.

Really, what made GS opt for this total farce? Ruined its own reputation and broke every well wisher's heart

All the guest looked completely helpless, right from Kunal to Shreya. Shreya ji is kolkotar rosogulla, Nihira's voice resembles Shreya's quite a lot..!
