In any competition the best should win irrespective of their origin, state, region, caste, religion etc.
First of all going to public to evaluate ones performance it self is wrong, the buddies participating are well trained professional , only another trained person can understand what are the strengths and week nesses of them. I think directors should have thought about it before setting the rules. Once issue is with public, public may vote according to their choices, we cannot rule the possibility of regionalism influencing their pattern. There is nothing wrong, it is very common across globe, we are not here to say whether it is wrong or not but it is being practiced in each every corner of societies. People tend to develop likes and dislikes based on their own criteria. If Debo got more votes from N.E. , let it be, others are getting more votes from their respective states, for example I read some where that Hema's father is asking for votes from south, infact my wife and daughter voted for him not just for south background also for his talent to, but developed sympathy and started voting him after his father's appeal.
All the four finalist are pretty decent, expect for one wrong decision from them of walking out. If they think that Debo doesn't deserver that many votes, they are wrong, because they are deciding what is wrong or right, if they want to walk out let them walk out, it is not end of the world for them, they already celebrities by now, they can take own decisions, but they should not blame Debo, he is pretty cool and decent. Technically Debo may be week among the four, (as told my wife , she has classical music back ground) and the trio may be thinking the same which might trigger them to walk out, but he is show stealer, he has the ability to raise to the occasion. One thing I liked in him is his decent behavior. I shifted my loyalty to Debo and I am going to vote for him now onwards.

Also, I am seeing lot arguments and counter arguments in discussion forms, I want to say one thing to them WE ARE INDIAN'S FIRST then comes state etc.
Please don't get charged with regionalism, vote for the best performer and enjoy the show. These TV shows are for entertainment, should not lead to unnecessary regional politics.
Also the behavior of judges is totally unacceptable and cheap, I have a small doubt, are they really getting charged with the events going around or they just creating such scenario to create more public interest, I think some thing is going behind scenes, may be these kids are getting victimized by these so called ENTERTANERS……………?

I think it was jus a stupid thing to do...Saregamapa gave them a good chance but they didnt like it i guess...

I have been watching Sa Re Ga Ma Pa for long... time.
Most of us will agree on one thing. That is public voting is wrong way to find "future singer star of India". May be in future they will change it.. I think they should appoint penal of 5 "music gurus" from each state let them grade these contestants each week. Now average last 5 weeks score. Who ever gets lowest is eliminated. This process must start with last 25 participants. (i.e. for first 5 weeks no one will be eliminated) and we will have winner on week # 30.
Now for my opinion for last 5.
1) Nihira
2) Himani
3) Hemachandra
4) Debojit
5) Vinit
Vinit: Need to sing from deeper then his throat i.e. chest or stomach. I personally sense lots of teenager scratch in his voice...Missing depth...Too sallow.

I think the public voting is all right as it allows spectators to feel being part of the show and Zee too earns revenues. One option to cushion the regional bias is to limit the percentage votes from one's home state (or region, say by 25 %. Thus in the final, Vinit's tally of votes from Uttar Pradesh be pegged to 25 % of total votes cast in his favour. Similarly Debojit's tally of votes from Assam be pegged to 25 % of total votes cast in his favour. The above percenatge can be adjusted (reduced)by organziers of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Program after further deliberations.

It will be interesting to hear some constructive suggestions about which part of the format to retain and which parts to do away with in the 2006 version, so that there is no mud slinging and war of words. Of course, it will be too much to expect completely smooth sailing. Music is such a subjecive topic, but the rules of the game should try to infuse as much objectivity as possible.

what gets me mad is that himesh from out of no where starts telling everybody that vinit is in love!!!!That has absolutely nothing to do with music!I bet himesh lied to the audience about vinit falling in love just so that vinit could get more votes 😡

i just think that just like nihira went out without a crease on her forehead i think vinit hema and himani shud have accepted what comes to them gracefully. i think nihira was very graceful and i have been seeing her earlier performances in sa re ga ma pa where she lost and when she cried, javed akhtar told her she has to accept it well and she remembered that. that is what maturity means.
i feel debo was also very mature to have kept quite and see the whole drama without reacting.he sings well no doubt but has also improved very well.
himesh r has totally spoilt his singer vinit. he screeches and screams and goes besur i don't know how many times. and because of his mentor, success has gone to his head.i had also liked vinit singing at one time but a no no for today. he is too rude and proud of i don't know what. and honestly i feel that himani spoilt the whole show and went off. hemachandra had also improved considerably. being from south his hindi accent was competetive with others.
my points would go to nihira then debo and then hemu.himani is also very good but what she did before she lost , she gets a zero.
i am talking about the last five. otherwise sharib was good and also twinkle. probably if vineetha would have taken it seriously from the beginning and listened to her mentor, she would have also excelled.
just a point of view. no hard feelings dear vinit fans.
