could any body can answer that how one can get 80% of his/her vote from a place like assam (who say's that all 3 where wrong? )

Well, here is what i feel is happening.

1> By saying that whoever is getting minimum votes will be kicked out of the show.
Every SMS audience sends to the show, Saregama, is making atleast a Rs 1 on it. That means Gajendra don't want any contestant who does not bring enough money consistenly on a weekly basis. That means, if you bring a celebrity like lets say Sehwag and make him sing, he will be receiving maximum vote, irrespective of who sings well. According to me the contest is no more abt good singing, it's only abt how much $$ you can bring to Saregama. So walking out is a good thing to do.
We all know the last 6 contentestant were the best and they consitently has sung above thier expectation. The contest is at a stage where comparing is going to do no good to anybody including indian audience. Just finish it off, saying they are best 4.
I felt that this is like comparing Asha bhosale and Lata mangeshkar, they are the best in their own way...stop comparing them, instead start enjoying them.

2> The big fight was completely staged:
Shaan was not at all surprised when the 3 of them walked in, poor guy cannot act. Couple of rowdy ppl you see in the show were just their to create the scene. If you think this was unintentional by Gajendar, then he would have stopped the recording and won't have telecasted. How come their was recoding going on in the back of a studio, do you think this is just an co-incidence...come on don't fool yourself. The reason he is doing all this is for more $$. I won't be surprise if the price for an Ad next week onwards during is bumped up by 25%. We indians don't use our brain to understand such a plot, pity on us.

Anyway, i started to hate the "voting by SMS" trend to pick a winner, coz it will always be biased and we will never will get a real Hero from this.

I still have a doubt whether this drama was real or made-up to spice up the programme. For this post, I will assume that it was true. What the three did yesterday was absulutely stupid. Everybody knew the rules of the game beforehand. Justice or injustice, fair or unfair, you have to accept the judgement. The show has, for long, been promoting regional bias. All candidates are allowed to speak in their regional language while asking for votes. What nonsense was that?

However, I also feel that public voting or sometimes even judges' decision have been miserable - not only in this show but in every other similar show, be it Indian Idol or Fame Gurukul. Music takes backseat as looks, glamour, sentimetal outbursts and showmanship rule (which saw Nihira voted out). The besura cook from Chamba continued in the show for long while a talented Abhijit (remeber the bald guy with the French cut) did not make it to the top 12.

Nihira don't be sad because I doubt if Mohd. Rafi or Lata Mangeshkar would have won these contests. They probably would not have made even as far as you did.

One thing that i am confused about is - how come when ID walked off the stage last week, Debo was not automatically disqualified?? If the Gharana (rep by ID) withdraws and walks off, how can its participant continue in the game??? If he cannot participate, his votes are meaningless, right?

Otherwise, the other participants also have the right to walk off and let the gharanas select their own participants from other people that are already out! I mean, i am just talking from an objective perspective - personally i dont care who wins and who loses - when some good singers got eliminated, it did not change my personal or professional life in anyways...so it is not important to feel passionately about the participants in order to have an opinion about why the sauce for the gander has to be sauce for the goose! After Debo got the max votes today, the other three had the right to walk out anyways and the correct decision for Gajji seems to be to not award anybody with the award or else bring back the top twelve participants and respectable judges and let them make the decision.

If democratic behavior is encouraged from the audience through voting, etc., then it should be accepted from participants also!

I feel that even if Debo was the third highest voted today, the other three would have done the same thing - the intensity and drama doubled because he got the highest votes - makes one wonder if it is partially (if not completely) staged.

Anywayz,right from the beginning all contestants were askin for votes from their resp states...not only the contestants but also the judges,esp himesh reshammiya n ismail durbar.
So if the north east is voting more actively..whatz wrong.
I'm not a supporter of debojit at all,but the whole thing is just too dramatized.

I also strongly oppose what the trio did yesterday. I have been voting for Vinit consistently as I am also from Lucknow but the attitude that all these three had shown was sheer diplomatic politics. Debojit is also a good singer and deserves equally to win the contest as these three. If Assam can vote from him, then is the population for Mumbai / Delhi is lesser than Assam that they can not bypass the number of votes from Assam.
Even whole of the South India can vote for Hemchandra and he can score any numbers.
All the challengers should accept the public voting as they already knew that this is the method of selection in the program.
I am really not feeling like voting for any of these three any more. The word I can use for their action is "ridiculous" only.
I hope things work out properly today.

I totally agree with Anuradha. Being a lkoiite, I kept on voting for Vinit and praying for him coz after a long time i have seen two talents togather on a big platform but after such an act, it litteraly shows how immature these three are.
The worse thing on all these stunt, was the backing by their mentors.
One more thing i wanna say regarding the behaviour of Vinit's Father. Though i came to know about the abisive language used by him, only by this forum yet i saw him arguing with Mrs, Debojit. He is father of a 17 yr son and one can't expect such kind of act with him.
