UPDATE 12th JAN 2006

Today was a programe which after many many days I found very boring somehow. Why??? I don't know. It is not that they did not sing properly. Each and every participant sang beautifully. They were perfect. Loved the song of Debojit. Himani was very low today. Nihira, Vinit and Hem was as usual perfect. But leaving aside Debojit none touched my heart.

Nihira got the lowest and Vinit Highest. So Nihira out of the contest. Final four Debu, Hem, Vinit and Himani.

Ismailji was furious with the janta and God. He made an announcement. He called God and told Him "Mujhe tujhse yehi kehna hai ki jab tak main isae star na banaa du mujhe mat uthana. Aur agar utha liya to (looking at Nihira) tu theek hai tab main waha ar usae dekh lunga. Ab yeh larayi Mere, Uske aur Janta ke beech ki hai. Yeh Jantaa kya karegi. Yeh kuch nahi kar sakti hai….. puri khokli hai. Ab meri larayi us upar waale ke saath hai. Tu ghabraana mat".

Nihira's reaction....

She was cool to tell the truth. She was feeling sad but controlled herself well. She thanked her parents then Ismailji and finally the other two mentors.

Before leaving she sang for everyone... Rahae na Rahae hum, Mehka Karenge..... with Ismailji standing beside her.

Nihira is a BORN-STAR!! She will ROCK!!! I know she will...shes going to one of the BIGGEST if not the Biggest female singers in the near future. But it is disappointing that such a talented singer had to go when there are couple of people who don't deserve to be there.

I recently started following SRGM, didn't know it was such a great show with great singers who focus on singing first.

I think Nihira is a very good singer and she will go on to make her own mark in the music world.

thanks for the update.Don't want to watch it as nihira got eliminated. Its a sad episode for me.

I will really miss listening to nihira's perfect singing...this is a loss for show...good luck to her...she will be famous like shreya ghosal..

Debojit was absolutely FANTASTIC today. Nobody even came close to match his performance . He was really in a supreme league of his own.
