Welcome Himani a Sufi n nihira a Gazal si

Himani: -You just see her last two performances..."Oopar kudha" "Jiya dharak dharak'.... The intensity she brings to singing makes her a compelling artist. More than melody she has the Sufi words of wisdom. I would highly recommend it to everyone those who understand the language as well as those who just want to have the inner felling of the very real music...She is just a novice and of course need a lot of improvement but I feel she is going to get through.

Nihira: - she has a low to medium pitch sweet voice, which I think, is more suitable for Gazal singing like anuradha paundwal, chitra singh and mitali Singh. With her sugary voice she has a great future, which can bring the true melody in Indian music unlike the today's ho-halla kind of stuffs.

But I give 0.5 points more to himani because she is gonna to be a Gen Next Sufi Singer of our country.... very different and very few of its kind...

I agree with you completely. What effotless singing by Himani. What control, flawless singing of that category of sungs

I really look forward to a sufi album by her..she is a power house.

I agree with all of u..for the First time when I saw nihira partcipating in SA RE GA MA PA I tht she is the winner .....but slowly Himani is giving a very tough fight to her...Some magic is there in her voice...When nihira is performing its good..But when himani sings we just stop doing everything and forget the world until she finishes her performance....OMG she is excellent...She makes eveyone to concentrate and involve in her song while she is singing...she is simply awesome..Even AS didn't think she 'll reach so far....Nihira is the best...But I donno I am feeling tht I like Himani more than Nihira...This is purely my opinion...so its not tht i am insulting Nihira bcoz i am also a great fan of nihira...

well basically..i thought "jiya dhadak dhadak" was kinda easy to sing...himani should start singing some difficult songs as well. I admit she sings all her songs very well. But she does not sing really difficult ones - like nihira does. Eg: HRHK,Rangeela re,Chup chup ke and so on ...

indeed himanis singing makes one forget the world it is as if its not her mouth but her soul thats singing.

Himani definitely has proven herself far beyond everyone's expectations, and can pour her soul in the lyrics...especially "Kachche Dhaage", "Yaar Manana Ni...",
But, Nihira cannot be discounted just as a Ghazal singer. She is versatile beyond words and has a strong classical background.
While Himani literally blew the sweet and bubbly "Chale jaise hawaein...", Nihira has gone from the classic "Roj shaam aati thi..." (intial round) to "I Love You..." to the 1942 number effortlessly.
Himani's sufi touch is her greatest asset...but it could be a handicap in her payback singing career.

Guys........No offense........But I dont understand, since long time, I have been observing that much of comparision has been done between Nihira and Himani. Yeah they are competiting now in the final stage but ridiculous to compare. Because if one of them wins, that doesnot mean that it will be end of the world for other one. Both will have successful careers. Both are two different singers. So question of comparision doesnot arise. IT is as good as comparing Alka yagnik and sunidhi chauhan.

So guys which singer you will choose among the above two?

One thing is for sure guys, if you are a true genuine music lovers, you will understand that Himani's voice is very hard which is not used for melodious songs. I mean to say she wont be a regular singer. She will be categorised like Richa sharma or sunidhi chauhan.

While Nihira will be a regular singer like Alkaji,lata and ashaji and can be chosen for even item songs and sufi songs too. And Nihira's voice quality is so sweet that she will not be categorised. She will be a regular singer. While Himani is unlucky to be categorised.

Guys now I think you must have got it but no offense. You have your own opinions, thats ok.

For eg: IF I have a set of songs, melodious, romantic, item numbers, sufi, qawaali and I need a singer to sing those songs for it then, I will definitely choose Nihira to sing all the songs as she has a voice to sing all types of songs. I wont choose for Himani to sing melodious songs. Because her voice is not suited for that. If it is a question of just tumri or qawali, then probably I would choose Himani. But IF it is a question of all types of songs and I have to choose one of them, then definitely NIHIRA.

NIHIRA ROCKS. She is awesome..........what say guys.
