Great, soothing track. Back to basics has its rewards and it shows immensely in this track. The key to perfect singing even in a simple track with restricted scale like this one is getting the combination of feel and melody right, right harkats at the right places and accuracy of voice modulation. Perfect pitching is just an icing on the cake.

Just from the start, the singing of KK impresses you with his tonal quality, clarity of lyrics and emotions put in the optimal manner without going overboard. As The song progresses, it gets better, if a bit monotonous (negligible, not a cause for concern though) but that quality is well maintained. Added expressions are a no no and thank god that KK adheres to what he does best-singing in sync with a perfectly complimented background tune.

Overall, a great track for all moods and seasons. Pleasure to listen an hummable.

Kailash Kher has always surprised with his versatile singing. Be it a sad sang or happy number. Although I enjoy more of his slow numbers.

9/10 for Kailash. The songs quite touchy, this is the first time I m listening to it, but I am really impressed with Kailash's singing.

Great expressions throughout the song by Kailash Kher. He had great voice control throughout the song. His classical base was in good display in this song. Good high pitches as well.


But to be honest, I just didn't connect with the song. So I am going to take that 8.5 and turn it into an 8.

The lyrics of this song are so tenderly written..plus the simple tune compliments them so wonderfully..

Kailash's voice turns completely sad according to the somber mood of the song, thats the beauty of singing with genuine expressions.. It echoes the truthful words so nicely.. High notes are bang on, intensifying the agony, it seems nice to see Kailash singing a relatively simpler song with so soul.. Goes so well with the situation in the movie.. A job well done..
