Hi..I do not think the makers of music in the film industry are waiting for the final 2 to allocate songs to them. All of them are renowed film music directors and personalities . and I do not think they are bound by the results of sa re gam ma pa to pick a singer in their movies. I think sa re Ga Ma pa has given these singers a wonderful platform to launch themselves.. not everyone gets this chance and I think if anyone thinks they want Swananda or Raktima in a song , theresults of public voting should not stop them
We have been all listening to these singers for 4-5 months now and we all have a favorite .. based an amalgamation of many things.. voice/sur/performance/region/personality/whatever....
Also many of these singers have been given a break .. and we all know only 2 have to win, So I think public voting may not be completely accurate but just an example.If a judge was invited to judge the final rounds, hema would be out this week from the way he sang ..because the judge would be judging that day;s peformance but the public would definitely not cast him out.


I think we should all enjoy these last rounds and hope that the good singers get a break!!!!!!!

I just saw today's episode.. It was very sad to see Swanada get voted out. I think she is a great singer. She deserved to be in the finals. I hope that she gets a chance to sing in films because she is very good.. I see that some of the people here already share my views. 😭

Hi... i TOTALY AGREE WITH all the people who are with Swananda poor her.... she was such a nice contestant.. and would have given a tuff fight..... but now I'am also worried for Sharib... I 'am always praying for him.... I wonder how long he can keep up his gharana all alone... Oh god plez help him... 😕

I would like to know whats the story behind Aadesh's acrimony towards Vinit. I have always seen him as a person who respects good music and musicians...but I have noticed that something about Vinit totally pisses him off. And this is not the first time. So much that he even alludes that Vinit is a fake singer. Now I don't want to present myself as a diehard Vinit fan... I like other singers too, like Nihira and Sharib. And I also felt that his 'Aaja aaja' was not as good as his previous performances...but surely it did not warrant the heated discussion that followed. That looked like a personal vendetta programme. Something is going on here behind the curtains and I am a little curious to find out.

I think Vinit is a good singer but I don't see anything VERY great in his singing..he does deserve to come to the finals but I'm not sure he's good enough to be the best..his voice is very different..as far as playback is concerned, I cant think of his voice suiting any of the current heroes. He can sing only a certain category of songs well but is not versatile. But he has been smart enough to choose sings that suit his voice, which is good.
On the other hand, I feel that singers like Hemachandra and Debojit are far more versatile-they can sing a wide variety of songs...and in playback, their voices will suit many bollywood heroes....even Paresh's voice quality is very good and very soothing to the ears. ofcourse, he is not that confident about "sur" all the time but all that can be fixed in playback...
Rajiv is just plain LUCKY to have come this far, that's all....
Sharib is also a very good singer and puts so much feeling into his singing...but his voice is also the type which is suited for only a particular category of songs and whenever he's selected such songs, he's sung exceptionally well...but cant imagine his voice being that of a hero's...his voice is best for sufi-type singing...

4. the singing: sometimes i hear Twinkle sing...and wonder how's it possible that she is in the final. Her song "Pyar to hona hi tha" was so false...my cat cried during her song 😛
5. the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa show: I tried to record the show, but it is not possible. Coz about every 10 mins there is a commercial break. I am getting sick of it!!!!
The shows duration is without the commercial exactly 33 mins long. This is in my opinion a bit short for a show this caliber.

Love catcher twinkle is in final because of two reasons 1) she is really good singer however i know she selected the wrong song pyar to hona hi tha because jatin lalit commented that day that jaspinder nirula (who orig. sung that song) herself wasn't able to sing that song again as excatly as orignal song she sung. Pitch note in that song is really high.

Second reason she is still in final is BECAUSE SHE IS REALLY PRETTY LOOKING GIRL YAAR. and public is voting not mentors so understand samja karo yaar. even i like her a lot

After reading the posts from Priti and others, I have noticed that here in the
U.S. we are getting even less show and more commercials in the 65 min or
worse 95 min show slot.

For example, in the U.S we did not hear any comments on Rajiv's singing in
the second round, though I read somewhere here that Aadesh said that he
was one of the most popular contestants.

Given the quality of the show now, I am not complaining on the 65 min view time in the US. Next thing you know, Gajraj might bring in a kitchen on Stage and ask Rajeev to show his culinary skills to get the vote, Twinkle to perform the cat walk(not that she isn't already).

The root of all EVIL is Gajraj. He should perish for the show to reclaim the lost glory.

I maybe wrong but if Jatin Lalit liked Swananda so much why did they not give her a break in one of there movies. Will they only give a chance to the person who wins Sa re Ga ma Pa. Why is everybody so focussed on who wins the competition. This is not FG where the winner gets a one year contract with Sony etc.. this is Saregamapa.. quest for a good playback singer. I like when Himesh and Aadesh give these singers an opportunity to sing in their movies but JL and ID have never stepped up/.. JL said Swananda can go to UK and she will get lots of opportunities.. why did they not promise her a song in their next film. Why do they not give Sharib a song.. Is this just about winning Sa Re ga Ma Pa and someone from their Gharana winning or is it encouraging talent and giving a stepping stone to these young people..
2 I feel sad for these partcipants becoming the scapegoats ..like Vinnet the other day.. he came , he performed and had to witness uncalled for Melodrama.. totally uncalled for.
3.Zee TV is not doing show for charity and obviously they get money for the SMS but the growing regionalistic approach is ridiculous.. I would like if Nihira asks for vote in Punjabi and Debu in Marathi and Hema in Gujarati.. Why is ZEE TV PROPOGATING REGIONALISM
