This is just ridiculous that Rajiv got a green. I think too much of hype has been created for him since his background of a cook and also he is from remote area of 'Chamba'. People need to understand the real quality in music. I never deny that he is a good singer but there are lot others who deserves to be in final 3 and thats exactly the whole issue of this Public Voting. We should not depend on such voting since genuine music lovers votes gets over written by voting through masses.

I think SaReGaMaPa Challange 2005 still have time to correct the mistake of taking only Public Opinion in the final rounds. The MUST HAVE panel of judges who can choose right singers. At present too much of attention has given to 'Performing' rather than actual 'Singing' which is this contest is all about.

Twisting and turning your body and taking few steps here and there does not qualify for a good singer. It is a know fact that nobody can dance vigourously and sing at the same time. Even established singers play CD in the background while "PERFORMING" and they do not sing live. I have often seen this in U.S. when many big singers perform here for shows and everyone knows that the CD is being played in the background. I am not critisizing nor I am saying that it is wrong, it's perfectly alright but the fact remains that more weightage should be given to Singing rather than performing for such contests. I am sure we have many other shows/contests for dancing and performing in the area of Reality Shows.

Hope Gajendra Singh come up with differnt idea of juding these deserving singers.

t'day its a shock.. sharib is voted out.. never expected though... 😭

Today I watched one of the saddest episodes of Saregamapa, Sharib's elimination. The boy's humility is untouched despite all these weeks of public attention. I can't say the same about Himani...her surprise at getting the yellow light was fairly evident.
I agree one contestant has to go every week...but I would still like to see them go in a chronological order, starting from the least best. Thats not happening unfortunately.
I know this is a game show...which fetches crores of rupees for Zee....but assuming that the contestants are real and voting is fair.... as a representative of the public I say, shame on us!!! We badly messed up.

I maybe wrong but if Jatin Lalit liked Swananda so much why did they not give her a break in one of there movies. Will they only give a chance to the person who wins Sa re Ga ma Pa. Why is everybody so focussed on who wins the competition. This is not FG where the winner gets a one year contract with Sony etc.. this is Saregamapa.. quest for a good playback singer. I like when Himesh and Aadesh give these singers an opportunity to sing in their movies but JL and ID have never stepped up/.. JL said Swananda can go to UK and she will get lots of opportunities.. why did they not promise her a song in their next film. Why do they not give Sharib a song.. Is this just about winning Sa Re ga Ma Pa and someone from their Gharana winning or is it encouraging talent and giving a stepping stone to these young people..
2 I feel sad for these partcipants becoming the scapegoats ..like Vinnet the other day.. he came , he performed and had to witness uncalled for Melodrama.. totally uncalled for.
3.Zee TV is not doing show for charity and obviously they get money for the SMS but the growing regionalistic approach is ridiculous.. I would like if Nihira asks for vote in Punjabi and Debu in Marathi and Hema in Gujarati.. Why is ZEE TV PROPOGATING REGIONALISM

I think JL did not give any break to Swananda or to Sharib because they do not have any movie in thier hands other than Fannah(Amir-Kajol).Fannah is a YehRaj movie and they won't allow them(JL)to take such type of risk in their movie as we all know that music plays a big role in their movies and I think the songs of the movie has already been recorded.

Also I was happy for the Hema as he overcame with his diction problem but in the last to last episode(in US)when he sang "Gustakhiyan hain",he sang "Gustakhiyan he" even in the last episode many times he sang "he"instead of "hain".He shouldn't have done these mistakes specially at this stage of the competition .He is a very good singer and he has to try more harder to solve this problem.

I am really surprised at the results and more over talented singer like 'Sharib' got voted out. Unfortunately for us in U.S., we have to wait until Monday/Tuesday @ 7.30pm since we are behind the Indian schedule.

This is very unfortunate situation and just not becuase there's no contestant left in JL gharana but he rightly pointed out that public voting is not fair.

You are absolutely correct on the part of judges that there has to be same panel of judges through out so that they can judge these contestants on the basis of their over all performance and not just the performance for the day. In the past also we have seen that SaReGaMa Mega finals had wide variety of judges right from classical singers to music directors and playback singers.

There were rounds like singing without music, classical round, regional songs round etc. These rounds can show real talent in singing and that would be best part to understand singers performance.

It's sincerely unfair and with all due respect to everyone since I have seen on these posts many have turned great fans of particular contestants. Here I am not saying that these finalists are bad but there are some who are certainely not good enough to be in the contest while other talented and most deserving candidates are getting voted out.

It's very unfortunate that Raktima, Swananda and Sharib all 3 with great singing abilities are out of this show while some of the contestants performed so poorly and believe me consistantly low performance are still around.

Even I do not wish to name them, I guess everyone here are very good listners and can judge their own opinion. But this contest is becoming sloppy every week.

God bless deserving candidates and I wish People of India make wise descision in choosing the finalist with right abilities and singing capabilities.

In the early days of Hindi film there were sort of these singing stars like
Suraiya, Noorjehan, Kanan Devi, and Saigal so the idea of performing adn
singing is not new. The difference is that these people knew how to sing
in tune!

Great point Maanas, the "singing with no music" round in the old Sonu Nigam days (the one without any track or music) would have been a great way to judge the capabilities of a singer.

But I guess, no one cares that much now since a playback singer and his mistakes can easily be fixed by digital technology.

Sharib voted out so early :-( this is not at all good.
Now I dont feel like to see this program.. This is again happened same like in Indian idol Rahule saxena voted out very early.. seems like pulic only want glamour .. they dont have knowledge of music, good singers... very disappointing... they should not go for public voting.. instead of voted out by public its better to vote out from judges which was happening previously. At least they know abt singing and talent..

Very bad.. I dont feel like to see this show ...
