I didn't like what Ujjaini said

Hi all.
Yesterday i was watching SAREGAMAPA , with Soumen going to Kolkotta. And Ujjaini was there to support him. I know Ujjaini is a good singer, but i didn't like when she said, "BENGALI , BENGALI KO VOTE NAHI KARENGE TOH KYA KARENGE". What does she mean by this? So should i consider that bengali's believe in regionalism. Or it doesn't matter to them, whether a singer is a good singer or not, he should be a bengali.

No offenses to Soumen fans. I too love Soumen's singing and i truly believe he can be a winner..

So guys, i think we all should rise little above Regionalism and all small petty things like this.
I pray MAY THE BEST MAN / WOMAN WIN!!!!!!!!!!

Its regionalism all around, just because others don't say it, doesn't mean they don't follow it.

Yes "Woh Ajnabee" i do agree with u but i think we all need to together change this. May good singers have been left behind due to this regionalism.

Well I agree, I wasn't defending regionalism at all. But we also can't deny the fact that its the basis for a majority of the voting that occurs in Indian reality shows, it makes me sad that we lose good singers because they're not from a big enough or supportive region. Its not fair. But there's also nothing that can be done when its public voting, you can't change people's perception and how they vote.

Well, i think that public voting should be taken out from all the shows as most of the time a deserving contestant is always left out, whether its a dance contest or singing contest or any other reality show. And we have all witness this so many times in various shows.

No matter how much any community claimes that they are fair and open minded supporting talent and only talent but they still are supporting their own regions

She said that?😲......She should've used some better reason to vote for Soumen...like..."he sings well", or "he has a powerful voice".....etc..etc....but voting for him.....JUST coz he's a bengali!!!!!!!!!....that's hella partial!!!!!!🤢
