Yeah....i agree to piya_v116. Yashita is too much of herself....But we know that there are a lot of people who are waaaayy modern than her....
Especially those from the US and UK are far modernized both in thoughts and attitudes....But they don't show it to intimidate others...

same here! I love her singing but she doesn't seem too likable to me. But if she makes it as a singer I would totally buy her cds! She is a good performer too!

I did not like her earlier, but her singing is just too good. In fact she has the potential to be number 1.
I just hope its not a guy this time. None of the boys stand out.

She has the same attitude that you see many 2nd or 3rd generation migrants from other states in Mumbai have... So sickening. She sings only the heavy beat semi-western songs. She has no versatility in terms of musical range - she hasnt proved it so far.
Many A.R. Rahman songs are such that they can be sung by people with less musical knowledge and that's why he created a sensation. Before people were scared to sing, fearing that they might be out of tone and he changed that perception of music, and so is a legend in the industry by bringing all kinds of people to enjoy his music. So I cannot comment her as a great singer because she sang a highly sensational song which people can relate to so well.
She is a Zero when compared to Vaishali, Prathibha and Naina.

How could the poor gal "get into" your nerves? Given her size, I doubt she will ever fit "into" anyone's nerves😛 Now, if she was getting "on" your nerves toh tumhari peedha samajh mein aati hai. After all, achhee khasi kad kathi ki ladki hai. Hurt toh hoga hee na if she gets "on" your nerves😉😆
I absolutely adore her performances and like her kick-ass attitude. She is a well rounded performer. My favs, however, are Naina and Pratibha😃 Vaishail is also coming up pretty good😊

would you please quote songs of A R Rahman which can be sung by people with less musical knowl. First of all, all songs of a composer need not be based on raag Hameer or hansadhavni only, songs are created acc to situation of the movie, like in movie chor chor he has used fast tempo killer rhythm for the song hum bhi tum bhi chor hai sathi, yet it is based on shivaranjani which is a patho laced raag. Similarily songs of JTYJN are fun filled youthful song, so they are simple in beats and notations, if on one side we have songs like them on the other hand we have extremely complicated songs by A R R where he has used upto 3 raagas in one song like malargale (mil gaye) from Love Birds.
Still I would request you to please quote sings by ARR which are too simple in nature and composition. This post reminded me of a composer called Salil Chaudhary whose composition are supposedly toughest, if you play them on piano they traverse through all possible notes in 3 octaves, yet they sound very simple and smooth, like tasveer teri dil me, aaj koi nahi apna, try them out.
