For now, your private forum won't be searchable by internet search engines, but you have the option to make it Auto Join so that everyone can view it.

So far, I think I'm the only creator of a private forum who chose to make it open to everyone. Why isn't this a more popular choice?

Thanks, I tried keeping it as auto join but still it comes listed under the private section part of the forum which is a bit counter productive for a forum made to discuss a show since we would want more participation. But anyways looks like Auto Join is the closes that we would get so using that for now.

No even they are not getting tagged

As soon as I used Configure to move my private forum from General Discussion Forums to the India Forums category, its thumbnail became visible.

yup sometimes it does not work. Also the number of members doesn't seem to get updated. Pvt forum reached 15 members but it still says 7.

Also is there a way to delete a private forum? I made a second one by mistake which currently has no use.

I just figured out. Creators with "Invite only" forum will have to accept the invited members by going to "Manage Members" a whole list of members will show up and you gotta accept/decline.
