oh i absolutely loved this newsletter! this was probably the one I enjoyed the most out of all the newsletters!!👏👏👏

what i remember from school: the recess and lunch periods when i ran to canteen and went home resp, running around school with my partner (she sat next to me) working for the teacher (ahem, most of the time we went around the whole school bfore actually doing some work), and oo answering questions that no one knew the answer of (or didnt want to answer) in class, and art class and computers/needle work class. Oh, and the awards ceremony at the end of each year, and the drama festival, sports competions, etc each year: where i never participated but was always backstage...😃 and ooo singing class - loved the amount of time we spent there.😆 and...the morning assembly once a week in the big hall, where i was made to give speeches w/o prior notice.😕😆

OK, i talked a lot about what i remembered from my school. someone else should too.😳

once again, thanks for the amazing newsletter, the jokes in there were amazing...vickz ki goli lo kich kich door karo.😛😆

Nice newsletter

I miss my teenage years terribly😭

I did not bunked classes. I had perfect attendance. Even when I was sick, I still came to school. Played pranks on close friends once in a while. I was a good student. I was a prefect. I had to set a good example to my schoolmates.😆😊

Like many others, I also received awards for excellence in studies….no big deal.😳

I never participated in sports…I have poor stamina😕. During sports' day, I would "stationed" at the prize table…admiring the trophies….

The only teacher I hated in secondary school was my maths teacher. She taught us less. Gave us long long lectures…they were days when the whole period was spent scolding us🤢

One of the most memorable one was in 1998. It was prefect's investiture. We prefects had invited other prefects from other schools. That day my class was punished…two classmates had copied each others' homework. English teacher got very angry as it was not the first time. Though he was angry, he allowed us to choose the punishment. The whole class chose to sit in the sun for 20 minutes. It was very embarrassing. Prefects from other schools were watching us. Our rival class was very happy...especially the prefects. They were actually dancing and making faces at us! They were like jokers!😆

Another memorable one was…my sis gave me a big shock. She participated in some Public Speaking (speech) competition in school during assembly. She had gave a fabulous speech….won 2nd prize…most of the points in her speech was from me…she had lied to me earlier…told me it was for essay writing in class! It was a pleasant surprise for me and my friends (they knew who my sister was).

Thanks for bearing with me.😳

I have also talked a lot…someone esle continue😃

& here's the experience :)

The day you started school / high school / a different school The dayy.. when I started high school.. was like.. OMGG.. its HIGH SCHOOL.. we'll have to study MORE than middle school.. n ahahahha.. hoped that the seniors arent full of attitude..!! 😛The first day at elementary school was probably the same as everyone's.. was excited to go to "school".. but sad to leave parents.. :( hehehhe

The Nursery Rhymes Ahahhah.. I think the first one I learned was Twinkle Twinkle.. and mom says that I annoyed the hell outta her by repeating it over n over again, when i memorized it 😆*Good ol' dayz😭

The Lunch boxes OooOOhh.. the Best thing ever.. hehhehe.. esp when u share lunch with ur frenz.. ahahhah.. i remember that back in india, me n my other 6 frenz used to gather around one table.. open all the lunch boxes n eat whatever u like :).. we also used to do things like.. tellin mom to make specific dish for other ppl in the group and switch lunchz according to ur fav. dish.😉

Your first best friend First best friend.. Shifali.. n still my bff!! I met her when i was born.. coz' my dadi n her dadi were best frenz.. n i basically grew up with her.. she took care of me.. n blah blah blah.. all the good stuff!! 😊

The pranks you played Ahhhaha.. taunting when some weird guy passed by.. pranks with teachers.. droppin' water on their chair.. lol..and ohhh pranks with frenz are all time fav. stand behind them when they are looking for u .. trying to ignore them n walking straight when they r waiting for u.. nothing biggie.. but small li'l pranks

The classes you bunked LOL.. I seriously bunked AP Physics last year.. coz' I didn't learn nething when I was in the class newayz.. n more to come in college.. ahahahha..

The honours you won lemme take my resume out.. lol.. jk.. these are high school honors i won.. Student of the Month award (4 times) [no no.. I'm not teacherz pet :-P].. Principal Honors Roll (2 times). High Honor Roll ( 6 times). Volunteering experience for 150 hours. well those r the recent ones that i remember..And yes.. if u haven't noticed already.. I'm not a nerd 😆.. coz' i dont have a long list of awards 😆.. ahahha.. ohh badminton participation award! 😆😆

Your favourite teacher I dont know y.. but english teachers have been my fav. coz' they are more fun!! so for all 4 yrs of high school.. all my english teachers were/are my fav!!!

The teacher you dreaded the most Ohh I have a LONG list.. lol.. jk.. this year.. my chem teacher.. coz' she CANT TEACH!!!!!!!!..

The fights This doesn't count fights with ex bfz right? 😆😆 ohhh those lovely long fights with one of my really good friend.. Gupreet.. ahahahha.. we used to love each other.. but we were like.. two cats.. hehhe.. but then again.. we were in like 6th or 7th grade.. :-P .. Oh & me n my sis still fight!! GRRRRRRRR.. lol

The parties Parties .. wow.. where's the party yaar?? lol.. well one of the most memorable is my cousin's 18th bday.. when all my grls were starrin at me.. coz' I was blahbing with this one guy and everyone thought that I like him or whatever (well it was the first time I met him.. I talked to him twice or thrice online… so gotta talk to the person.. u know? Lol) .. lol.. n all the other cazy stuff we did there.. our "NO PARENTS CANT WATCH IT" dancez.. our "NO PARENTS CANT LOOK AT IT" picture!! 😆 u get the idea.. right?😆 but no.. I'm not "that" Spoiled :) 😃!! The parties with frenz.. which is always fun.. coz' we grls are crazyyy!!!! But yeah.. parties with my grls are the BEST!

The school play The only Plays I remember are this Sindhi play back in India.. like 4 or 5 years back. And it was in the tal-katora (sp?) stadium, delhi .. which was loads of funnn.. because not all my group frenz were in same play.. but we were together all the time and enjoyed every bit of crazy things we did over there!! I miss those day!!!!!.. And the second one was like 2 years back for US History.. and it was the 60's play.. so we had to dress up like 60z people.. dance.. act.. ahahhahah.. it was fun. I remember we all were soo stressed out about it before coz' we didn't do nething till one week before we had to present.. and we had to think about the costumes, the story, learn the dances.. ahahha.. good ol' dayz.. but yesss, we made it at the end & of course got A :D.. Ohh n we also went to the theater room on Sunday and also during the week.. and practiced the dialogues, dances, singing. Grrrr.. so many good memories.. Ohhh & also one more… diwali show with my youth group.. but I danced on like 10 remix songs… so it doesn't really counts as playz!

The scarp book I made one before.. with my frenz from india! its not as pretty as I'm making one for freshman to senior years.. ehhehe.. but yeah.. whenever I look at it or work on it.. my eyez get filled with tears because I'm going to miss all my friends. YES, we can still be in touch.. but all of us r going to different universities.. they are not even close to each other.. so it will be li'l hard.. but of course, not impossible! ScrapBooks are awesome!! I think everyone should keep one! :D

The autograph Autograph?? As in like the year book autograph things that ur frenz right? Well if yes, then they r the best thing ever!!! Especially when u get to read long notes from ur frenz.. bout the whole year.. and the "specific" real good times that we had together!!!

Even the school Newsletter

its right in front of me.. ahhaha.. I love it!! Wanted to join the team..but it was only offered during 5th period.. and I wanted to take AP English.. so the schedule did not worked out. But oh well.. I still appreciate it and read the whole thing!! (well not really the sports section.. hehhe) And its 8 real newspaper pages long.. not colored though.. it would have been cool if it was all colored.. but then again.. the matter that is in the newspaper counts more than the looks ! ..
