Vijay i use Opera, but still have to have IE installed as MSN and Yahoo check for IE6 to be installed.

1. Is there a way out that i get rid of IE and still be able to install MSN and Yahoo.

2. Which would u prefer FF or Opera. Seems like they are both similar.

Sir, how can I get reed of IE beta 7 from my Laptop look like I cannot find it in Control Panel and when I delete it from C: it comes back agin of it own. Also I have done system restore that will not go away at all need help please.

Thanks for the info Vijay.. I've been using windows XP.. and IE has been working fine till now.

If it has problems in the future.. will definitely dload FF.

I myself use Firefox and prefer it. I used Internet Explorer mainly because of the whole prefering Microsoft thingy. But IE had wayyy too many popups, and no matter what I did (by downloading pop up blockers etc) it didn't stop. So I decided to switch to Firefox for a little while and ride out that whole problem with IE. I ended up staying with Firefox anyway, because the browsing was much easier--the whole tabbed thing is so much better than having a bunch of windows open. And the browser looks cooler, too. lol.

Though, I have to admit, sometimes Firefox doesn't open pages properly, and I have to switch to Internet Explorer to view that particular page. But still, overall, I choose Firefox.

Rashmi ji,
There are 2 extensions for that...
IE-View (or again, a similar name) launches IE and opens up that particular page in IE
IE-Tab (or a similar name) opens an IE kind of interface within a tab (I prefer this one personally)...
