Hurricane Irene weakened to tropical storm is heading towards New England...fortunately majority of us on the east coast have survived the uproar of the mother nature with grace of god and many prayers around the globe...
The bad news 11 deaths have been reported cause due to the storm. May those souls rest in peace and god give their families strength to overcome this unfortunate event. Even though the storm has passed through most of the areas on the east coast, there are still potential dangers...the threat of flooding, some places are covered with inches of water, in some places water had climbed to street-sign levels...Even though the rain has stopped there are heavy winds...But with rivers still rising, and roads impassable because of high water and fallen trees, it could be days before the full extent of the damage is known. More than 4.5 million homes and businesses along East Coast lost power...The heavy gusty winds still continue to rake some areas...
With hurricane Irene on one side, there was also a tornado threat last night...the tornado touched down in Delaware around evening causing severe damage, demolishing about 15 to 17 houses..mother nature has been really angry with east coast this week, starting from earthquake earlier in the week and then hurricane Irene and tornado last night...
