Roop I walk alone
Why Roop should not marry? Semantics of character growth do not support it. Sustenance of Roop character needs it to have a powerful soul with strong provisions of identity endorsement to all other characters related to the story. Then he becomes a hero in the true sense.
How to give Roop a soul? Most important question. All that nonsense of divided n shared souls is pass n extremely boring. So let's explore the better n more interesting options.
First roop has to go through life altering experiences. Pain beyond human endurance. Responsibility beyond human power of dedication. Wisdom beyond human intellect. He has to walk through fire of what is called obstacles of life. He has to fall. He has to rise. No crutches of family n relatives to support him. All on his own.
Roop is the diamond in the mires of the human coal mine. But to shine through the haze of human fog he first need to be buffed, refined n enhanced. Who will do all this? Roop himself. All by himself.
Roop is the gold floating in the riverine of human characters meandering in their own shallow ideals. Yet that gold nugget is useless unless n until refined. How to refine the gold Roop? He has to face the hammerings of adverse n soul ripping circumstances, the fire of human treachery. Who makes the hammer for Roop? His environs, his misplaced goal. Who makes him go through it? Roop himself.
Roop is the rider on the being named life. Life will throw him off its back every second of distraction. He has to rise n ride the same again n again n again n repeat all the obstacles all over again n again!!! Then n then only shall he qualify to earn the respect of the being called life. N this is the most unshakable bond. The bond of trust, the bond of respect, the bond of testing of each other between the most powerful being n the most fragile being life n human endurance. Roop n life both have to come out victorious.
Yet Roop has to be the challenge that life is not ready to take again.
Until now roop is living a comfortable life. He puts his love over his parents honour n dignity, comes home to a welcome party of sisters!!! He goes to jail; ma hand feeds him on return!!! He works at a garage, returns home to a lavish meal n home!!! Where is the repentance? Where is the retrospect? Where is the struggle? Nowhere.
Roop has to be the endorsement of others identity. It has to be Roop's sisters. Roop's dad; Roop's elder bro; Roop's aunt, Roop's Ma. For this he needs to work hard n earn n establish his own identity.
He needs to earn that Roop's Ark? He has to buy it with his own money. He has to stake claim to it all alone. It's his, he has to work for it.
For all this Roop has to loose n forget his first crush, his first love. If he continues with Miss Patel his character will never ever develop because the struggle will never be there.
So no marriage with Miss Patel
Secondly healthy flirting was entertaining, nonetheless now Roop's love is becoming obsessive n borderline stalking. That does not go with the character called Roopendra Singh Waghela.
So no marriage with Miss Patel.
Roop will get married but much later on n to a different girl. A new character in the story has to come for him. Let's have an arranged one for him.
