Afsaus! My foot!
What was the bloody gold digger implying, when she said he would feel sorry.
Who did she think she was!

Till the results came, he had believed her like a fool. He had disregarded Ila's warnings, and gone by what his heart told him. He felt like laughing at himself now. What kind of a moron had he been, to remotely even feel friendly to a girl he thought, had been blackmailed into a situation! How stupid and unprofessional, and what an irony that she thought she could still use him. Seriously, what did she take him for!

His fault, entirely! He couldn't explain himself so well, either. How expertly she had played the victim card, and how he had fallen for her tomboy style! Bhaukaal!

He remembered how her casual goodbye had irked him the night before her supposed escape from Lal Mahal. He had felt like he was losing a trusted friend - the deep-rooted connect you feel when you made friends in the innocence of childhood. It was so disappointing, she could just wave him off, with a 'goodbye and welcome home anytime' . What had he expected! He was not sure about that either. It just had been a hard hitting sense of loss. If she didn't feel the same amount of trust and friendship - well, that made perfect sense too. She was not planning on leaving anyway, right?

He never had much of an opinion on women as such. Most of them were looking for a secure life, and he had no problem so long as they found the perfect idiot who would provide them just that. For once, he had found a girl who didn't dress up to impress anyone, seemed to have a personalty... And well, it turns out, even that was too much to expect! Women just made you feel like an idiot, even if you evaded the honeytraps!
Even the seemingly level headed ones were a little puzzle of their own, and he had no patience for all this!

What new drama was this, playing the detective now. When did she go from victim to witness! Before she changed colours, she could at least explain why she did what she did, leading him on like that. Of course, he knew. She was carrying out Satrupa's orders. And now, she expected him to blindly follow him into the next track her fake mother had written. He had been misled enough!

The little dumb gypsy! Did she have any idea what she had gotten herself into, selling herself to Satrupa like that! And now, it was upto him to set her as a bait, as well as guard her.

How good it would be to wrap up this case and deliver the little vixen to her precious Banaras, or even jail! Easier said than done. And he had his own ideas for Lal Mahal as well. This was the time to wait and watch, for the next move from Lal Mahal. Enough of friendships and distractions! Never again was he ever going to feel sympathy for any of his suspects, no matter how innocent and brave and genuine they looked!

Hi chick

Here is my take on Adiraj and the show

The show doesn't have heros ... it has people with motive some positive some not so positive ... but almost every one has a reason and a method

Adiraj took the case cos of his history and has ulterior motives too ... which is still not revealed fully except his blood relation and shaming of his father incident.

So I feel he invested in this girl becuase he thought both have a common goal which is hatred for laal mahal ... he was confident of her confidence of blood report coming as negetive and he supported her for the DNA test ... had he known this test would be positive I don't think he would have sanctioned it

So his action in his capacity put laal mahal and Baldev / satrupa in a better position that what they were earlier with this hier thing ... and he did it why becuase he invested in the girls words

Is it right to be angry ...ofcourse not .. has his plan back fired..actually yes hence the anger... Bottom line he's not the hero he's a player too

Hi T! Long time. 😳
Anami is the hero, I feel. That is because she is the one thrown into this chakravyuh, against her wishes. Adhi will be the only one she can really trust here, possibly. Even with his thirst for r revenge, his sense of fairness prevails. That keeps them together.

He invested in this girl, because she was so different. It was a fascination, and hasn't grown from there much, I feel. But the way he hurried away, when she said good bye, he was hurt that his friend was leaving him- a little boy tantrum he threw, when he hurried away without a glance.

Anger- He is angry because his fascination turned out to be a cheap gold digger. So he's angry with himself for having wasted any time at all there.

It's not love or crush, like some people think. It's more like he trusted a mate and he backstabbed him. Of course, there is a lot of potential, which can get ignited with the smallest spark. But as of now, Adhi believes who he considered worthy of his friendship and trust mocked him.

Retribution of rendition, is how I perceive Adhiraj's state of mind, atm, which is both hasty and judgemental. He had drank in her rugged charm the day he had set his eyes on her, his heart instantly implying that she wasnt one of them.

Them? The people who have wronged him in more ways than one. And he had spun a tale to convince his heart that he would set her free from the shackles that hold her here, fore looking his own feelings of attraction. But the blow that the fate delivered was too much to handle for an already jilted man, for the lack of better word. And that is when his mind took charge and shushed his beating heart to listen to the logical side of the circumstances that put Anami in the wrong light.

And here is the man who dared look at a juvenile girl, who was a reflection of his own self from years back, acknowledging to himself to protect her and yet, he cant help but feel the betrayal from the innocence that exudes the heiress of the baron, whom he finds culpable and yet not the malefactor.

A fantastic post, Soup. You have penned down Adhiraj's dilemma with finesse and needless to say that the makers have very aptly showcased the juxtaposition of a broken Adhiraj to the man whose in charge and in command of his own. And I think Ankit has done a fine job of portraying the character, showcasing the vulnerability when needed and the strength in requisite too.

And the changing dynamics between Anami and Adhiraj will soon make them each other's ally as they seek the other's help in getting to the bottom of the truth, both wrt Vatsalya and Adhiraj's family.

The show has entered the big league with acing up a prime time slot and it will be interesting to see how the makers take the story froward from here.

Long time :-)
I am glad to have found this show
It's like Mahabharata I feel where there are no one hero and everyone is a hero their own story... so depends on who's story you are listening

May be it's written like she tricked him into the DNA testing ... but the point is ... if she's the bilogical daughter then the results were to be positive
But here his choice of approving the test was not to let the truth come out ( because now it has and he's disappointed) but to worsen the laal mahal situation by proving satrupa wrong
I feel that's the reason for his taking the case as well .. to prove it's a internal rivalry...

Saying that I also feel the future track is going to be of trust and Adiraj is going to play the supporter role to anami

As per the story anami is a child so I don't really want to see her a hero as yet .. I think it's okay for her to fall trust the wrong guys etc ... no burden on her shoulders to do the right thing as far as the story goes

Couldn't respond to this beautiful piece, thanks to other distractions.

But my, my... I am in dreamland, and this write-up is perfect.

Haww, the way Anami's face lighted up when the spy mentioned Adhiraj wanted to meet her. Their seemingly crisp exchange, which created another new chapter, with renewed vows.

Sigh... And the way he plucked out her hair... To keep a lock of hair of one's beloved... When it is purely investigative, yet there is a certain emotional touch to that act, that he dared to invade her private space unintentionally. On the surface, it was strictly official, yet there was something sweet about it.

Broken ties have been mended, a new alliance is forged...

What an exciting new chapter! šŸ‘

Soup
@bold you must be reading too much between the lines, imo, unless you meant it to be sarcastic and ironical. Atm, there is nothing romantic about their relationship and I think that denotes the entire poignance of the relationship that they share now.

Anami is 17 and I would want her to be oder and more accepting of her feelings for Adhiraj, at the time when the two do get involved amorously. Adhiraj, however, is an altogether different story because he knows what he feels and he is being man enough to give her the much needed space.

Hi Chick,

I do not see any love or romance now between the two. Oh yes, initially there was attraction from Adhiraj's side. The moment the ball hit him - some wires got mixed up I guess šŸ˜‰

The wires have come back to an almost original position - thanks to the DNA test results.😃

For Anami - he is an ally. He is not part of Lal Mahal and so she is not against him. He is in a position of power. She would like to use that for further investigation. He is a decent guy. Easy to get along. And he is an ally. Bas.
