Dey and Benna said it all, and I still believe that if its Ila he wont think twice before plucking a strand out. With Anami and Ila its the age benefit too, they are younger.

But with the likes of Satrupa, duty is duty and there are ways to do it. Of course, he aint looking at a romantic liaison with the older ladies but with Anami there is a level of comfort which he hasnt felt with Ila too. However, I wont call it ..romantic or even remotely attraction, the plucking of hair, that is.
