What a power packed episode once again.
Anami is welcomed heartily into the LM, by her Dadi. But not everyone is happy.
Baldev is going to regret his words later. He is so agitated that he hurt himself and is not even bothered by his blood flowing from his hand. Every action has a reaction. That's Karma. He would be regretting it all soon. When he will know Anami more and accept her as his daughter, then his own words and actions are going to haunt him. Hope its not too late before he realises it. I think he is in the shock and denial phase, as he was confident that Satrupa is bluffing them all.
Now the highlight of the chapter. Satrupa and Vikramaditya's scene. Vikramaditya turns his back on Satrupa, as soon as she enters the room. Satrupa says, denying truth can't change the truth. The test can prove the truth, but can it save the relations which have been severed? She tries to make him understand the reality, the truth, that she is not against him but is protecting her daughter's rights. And then she asks the Mother of all questions-'If Anami was a boy, would he denied this truth?'
And I ask you the same question Satrupa, why you gave away the daughter, why not son?
She may be right all along the way so far, but soon she has to answer this question which she asks Vikramaditya herself. It reeks of double standards. While showing the face of truth to everyone, Satrupa is forgetting that its she who started this all. Why does she think that people will accept her truth so easily, when she will announce the existence of a daughter suddenly after 17 years, that too on a crucial day of declaring the heir.
She had proved the truth, by her own ways. But making people of LM accept the reality will not be in her hands. It will be interesting to see, how each one of them will realise and accept Anami, in their own ways.
Satrupa got her answers in form of silence from Vikramaditya. truly said, Silence can be powerful than words...
Anami always knew the truth of her existence. She tried her best to deny it. It was heartbreaking to see her helplessness and suffocation. She had all her hopes in this DNA test. But how far can she run away from the truth. Its unavoidable.
And one plea to her Panditji, and he is ready to leave his world, his life in Benaras, without any qualms. Such confidence and belief!
I couldn't help myself compare the both situations. One in LM and other in Benaras. In LM the so called blood relations need a proof and in Benaras, her single plea was enough to leave everything, just to be together again with the family, for the love of the family. One can easily understand, Anami's turmoil here.
I can go on and on...but will stop now. There is so much to think and write about the story and characters...that's the beauty of this show, it makes us think and compels us to express.
PS: Is it only me, who gets goosebumps sometimes, when there is a combination of impactful dialogues and the background score?
