This show is really not for someone who doesn't have an imagination and can't get past the question of 'how do they get food in the jungle on a deserted island!!?' I'm wondering if you just told me that I don't have imagination.....if yes, then THANKS, dude....THANKS a lot😛...I've read plenty of sci-fi and fantasy....but that doesn't mean I'll take whatever crap is shoved in my face in the name of "mystery" and "backstory development"....This show USED to be good at backstory development...there was a time when I was a very avid viewer....waiting for the epis eagerly every week.....You are such a nautanki! 😆 Acha, I'm not saying you have no imagination, but suppose ke I do...what's wrong with having a lesser imagination anyways? 😆 Imagination se trees nahi ugtay aur paise bhi nahi kamaye jaate, so it really is of no consequence, loss or gain. It doesn't make a person smarter or dumber, as far as I know of at least, toh keh bhi diya toh kya crime hogaya? 😛 😆 But it's a fact that some people are very practical and they can't stand any imaginary bs, while others will eat up any fantasy fed to them. Rather, I can only think that being too imaginary would lead you into trouble 😆

Waise tell me, did you ever say the food line? 😆

but it DID get convoluted with the pathetic way in which they twisted around the relationships and just kept on adding 9080800980 random characters....without even managing to do full justice to the many characters they already had to begin with....
Telll me! Bolo bolo, tell tell, which relationship was convoluted with the exception of the main triangle, which are bound to get retarded in any case, on any show or in any book. Rather, I think with the
9080800980 characters they've had on the show, they've given every one its due and then let it drop off, as is necessary. Most of the introductions were of minor characters, the main people stayed on and played out the story given to them, which did all the justice to them, not more, not less.Frankly "The Others" were a huge waste of time.....could never find myself bothering with this show after that....mehhh....Anyways, it's your cup of tea, dude....you of the GREAT imagination...so enjoy😛😆 Blasphemy!!! *takes the witch to the stake* 😆 I think the Others were one of the best factions introduced in the series and it was because of them that my favourite character on the show, Benjamin Linus, came into existence, who is given the due of being one of the best villains of all time on television.

Annnnnu, I seriously think you should give this show another go. Maybe you gave it up all that time ago because you didn't like the change and addition of characters, but I wonder if you would've changed your mind upon going on and gotten used to them instead of finding them a waste of space.

Gossip Girl is a lame teen soap....I don't expect much more from that genre anyways.....Lost was a very different kind of show to begin with....but it lost the plot along the way....for me atleast....I have more respect for a show which can stay true to it's storyline and characters....convoluted b.s. is not for me.....as for DMG....is that worth even mentioning in the same breath?😆😆
Anu, I think you are averse to change, that's it! 😆 (Now you are going to tell me that I'm calling you inflexible 😆)

LMAO.....I know I'm mean....I love being mean to you.....my fav. pastime😈😆 What's that saying in hindi? Ek toh chori, upar se seena zori 😛

Hm, yeah, I think we have different ways of perceiving the show and had different expectations of it too. Maybe your approach was more character-oriented, and so the mysteries, revelations, new characters and plot devices intro'd didn't pique interest. Each to their own (:

I dunno yaar....I actually loved the main characters a lot....I used to like Jack, Jorge, Michael, his storyline with his son, Lol, this guy became the most annoying character on the show, so much so that his dialogues have become epic 😆 I love him for all the lulz he brought. Sayeed Since you're not going to watch the show, I'm allowed to spoil. This guy died! 😆 His character started out as very promising, but near the end, it was almost as big a waste of space as Kate 😆....that bald guy....forgetting his name now....he used to intrigue me a lot....Locke! ((: Yep, definitely one of the best characters on the show. but then they just started showing them all as weird twisted personalities one after the other which put me off.....I like layers to characters but these ppl didn't have layers to them....they just went off on random tangents based on whichever whim the writers felt like....I didn't find there to be a good flow.....Oh. Hmm. You watched 2 complete seasons right? Mmm, in that time the characters really were consolidated in their places, such as Locke being the Man of Faith and Jack being the Man of Science and everything they did correlated with their respective natures...Locke was fascinated by the Island, so he got into the whole hatch stuff, and it was perfectly justified by his life experiences as a child and adult. As for the layers, the lives, situations and personalities of all the Losties came out through flashbacks at that time, and you got to see what they were coming from, what they were hiding, the facades they were putting up, juxtaposed with how they were dealing with things on the Island......they started random storylines like that of a 'black cloud monster' and then it went nowhere That was actually a huge aspect of discussion addressed in Season 6 and one of the biggest mysteries related to the Island (: .....then randomly everyone's obsessed with the hatch.....later on, that also just turns out to be random and pointless once they're inside....frankly the revelations just stopped being interesting to me and just looked like contrived twists that maybe I was SUPPOSED to be wowed by but I wasn't really....it left me quite underwhelmed. And anyways, I lost track once I went off to college....didn't have a TV in my dorm there so didn't have a chance to catch up or much inclination...it had lost it's pull for me *shrugs*....so I dunno about this Benjamin character you're talking about cuz I never watched the show when he must have entered....I maybe watched one random epi one time and I had no clue what the hell was going on....all I thought was...wow, they are STILL stuck on that island doing the same things I saw them doing last time😆....I read in some magazine in b/w that apparently there was some flashback/flashforward to the future where there's a nuclear explosion or something and then they all go back in time or something like that....and that just made me go WTF even more😆😆😆....I sometimes think this show tried TOO hard to be all 'mysterious' and stuff and it was all just one big phus bomb to me😆😆 Yep, the main theme of Season 5 was time-travelling and you'd say WTF to that, but it was one of those things I meant by past meeting up with the present, and characters being put in situations that they never expected to be in, being in the midst of what really transpired while knowing how it would end, character arcs about coming to terms with the past and life...learning things about their own lives that they never had otherwise (: And overpowering every new plot device the writers introduce is the foundation of the show...
its heart lies with the human emotions explored...the themes of sin, redemption, sacrifice, guilt, choice, power, courage, self-preservation, upbringing, duty, leadership, addiction, trust, fear, manipulation...not just with one character, but a panorama full of them. To me, the composition of all of that is beautiful, because it is all that life is about ((:

Choose...and give a reason for your choice:

Sonam/Deepika
Imran/Ranbir
Kajol/Rani
SRK/Saif

Abhi/Nikki
Manoj/Tina

Why do you think you are still watching DMG? Even on and off? :P and why do you think this show is still on air?? State a reason OTHER than KSG :P

One thing you don't like about yourself?
One thing you love about yourself?

You referred to Rishta.com as one great show in the middle of utter garbage on TV....which is the worst show on Indian TV right now in your opinion?

What do you aim to be in life?
What's the one thing that always makes you laugh?
What makes you emotional?

Sonam/Deepika - Oh, I really don't care for either of them. They are both below par actresses. Photogenic? Yes. Which is why I think both of them should be modeling, not acting. In terms of personality, I'd say Deepika. In terms of appearance, Sonam. In terms of being of any significance? Neither 😆
Imran/Ranbir - Again, I am totally unimpressed with this new gen. of actors, because they do not possess even half the charisma in personality or looks as their successors. Haven't watched a single movie with Imran in it, so by process of elimination, I'll go with Ranbir 😆 Also, he played his role well in WUS, so credit for that (:
Kajol/Rani - Kajol. Definitely as an actor, I find her so much more expressive, her body language so much more open, so alive. Now she is someone who lights up the room with her presence, and there is nothing that comes off about her as artificial or put on, be it in her movies, or interviews. To top, she isn't exceptionally stunning, which really explains with example the aforementioned 'charisma' that previous actors used to exude effortlessly.
SRK/Saif - SRK. He can be genuinely entertaining as himself and growing up watching movies, SRK was the end all and be all 😆 Used to like Saif a lot, but went off of him completely after his relationship with Kareena was made (overtly) public.

Abhi/Nikki - Abhi. He is level-headed, much more mature than her, and much less frustrating.
Manoj/Tina - Manoj 😊 He comes off as a very balanced guy, who seems laid-back while being well...how should I put it...well-versed. From his interviews that we have seen, which are the only way to make an observation, I always get the feeling that he would be great fun to hang out with, and also at the same time be someone whom you could talk or discuss serious, deep stuff with, i.e. beliefs, etc. He also seems a lot less moodier than Tina, so that is a plus 😆

Why do you think you are still watching DMG? Even on and off? :P and why do you think this show is still on air?? State a reason OTHER than KSG :P Kab watching on and off, bhai, kis dimension mein? 😆 Unless I read or see something exceptionally wtf or that which has created great havoc, I check it out to see what all the HAALABAALOO is about so that I can differentiate between the sane and twisted people on the forum :D As for why DMG is still on air...I really think someone on the production team of this show is like bhanja/bhatija of the Star One head or something. Uski roti-paani ke liye the show is still on air or something, otherwise, I really can't think of why they'd still keep it while other shows have been sacked. Why do you think? Honestly curious 😛

One thing you don't like about yourself? Hmmmm *thinks hard* Too emotional on the inside.
One thing you love about yourself? I think the fact that I am confident even when wrong 😆 It can rub off wrongly in some situations definitely, but I've seen many uncertain, doubtful individuals in my life, who lay down their defenses at the first of opposition. I think having the guts to stick by something you said is important, and if you don't, then it probably shouldn't be voiced to begin with.

You referred to Rishta.com as one great show in the middle of utter garbage on TV....which is the worst show on Indian TV right now in your opinion? Choti Bahu 🥱 🥱 🥱 It's probably not the worst, but definitely most sleep-inducing. But I really don't know about a lot of shows on Imagine and Colors, so I'm sure they have a show or two even more backwards 😆

What do you aim to be in life? "Bada aadmi" 😆...Hmm, life is a continuous journey, and who I want to be and my aims vary continuously too.
What's the one thing that always makes you laugh? People sleeping in class beside me. It's like being in on a joke that no body else knows.
What makes you emotional? The instances of parting and bidding good-bye...knowing that you won't see, talk, or be with someone for an unknown period of time, maybe forever.
